| It's been close to 9 years since I've stopped watching One Piece at exactly Ep. 705 way back Aug 18, 2015. It's the 25th year of One Piece this year, and I feel like we're finally closing on the end, so I plan to catch up. The main TV series is currently at Ep.1108, including this episode so 403 episodes more catch up, wish me luck! The Family sent spies to the Navy and Navy did the same. Corazon really smiled for Law till the end no matter how creepy it looked like, so Law will remember his smile. Damn, I've forgotten how emotional One Piece episodes can be, either that or I'm really getting old. LOL |

| It's just a beautiful episode. Every single line that Corazon spoke was pure poetry in such a heart-wrenching episode. Absolutely phenomenal. |

| One of those few times where the medium of anime can be ued to enhance the story of the manga. Started to panic a bit when it was the Donquixote members taking the chest instead of some random group. But Rosinante held on so that Law could get out unheard. Seeing him sob in utter silence was soul-crushing. Knowing that if it weren't for Rosinante holding out, he'd have been noticed instantly. Then Tsuru makes a perfectly timed appearance to force Doflamingo to flee, so the moment Rosinante finally gives out we hear Law's cry of despair. There have been very few canon deaths of One Piece characters outside of backstories. I hope Law doesn't somehow get cucked. Doflamingo is beyond any sort of redemption, and all the innocents he's hurt and killed need justice. That other kid is clearly going to be a major character in future. From the first shot he had more detail to him than a standard background pirate, then the captain mentioned he was actually the strongest of them all and was the perfect coincidence that saved Law. That's not the detail given to someone who won't turn up later in the story. EDIT: Wait. I just looked at other previous comments. That was the T-Rex guy from Shaboady?! With such a key part of Law's past, I'm disappointed he didn't turn out to be a greater force back then. |

| First I know the guy with the scar was seen before but couldn’t. After looking at comments it was t-rex Drake from the worst generation. Cool little connection. But yeah this is up there as one the best backstories in one piece. Corazan truly one the great characters of the show. And doflamingo is the best villian. Law one the best. Just overall great couple episodes. Lived up to the hype. One brother was a hero who was a good marine and other an evil pirate. Both celestial dragons. Great storytelling |

| Damn that was one hell of a backstory. Rosinante was one hell of a guy, he cared so much for Law despite not even being related or knowing him for that long. |
