| Only about five years. Thought that was a lot, but compared to most of the people here I feel like a newbie. Still... every week since I was twelve... Naruto has been a huge part of my life for so long, and it's aftereffects will probably always be there. |

| I started watching it about seven years ago this month actually, so November 2007. This was when I was only just getting into anime, I started watching DBZ I think in August, it was my first anime and I loved it that much that it made me want to watch another popular anime and Naruto was really taking off around then so I watched that which I also loved and is probably what made my interest in anime more than just a fad. |

| 2005 when the dub version began airing on Toonami. Then I think I stopped after we got rid of our TV, but then started borrowing the manga from the library. | I watched the premiere episode on toonami 9 years ago. I was just 14. So much stuff has happened in my life since then and watching/reading Naruto has always been a constant. I remember reading chapters in my high school library with my friend. I remember watching the first NarutoxSasuke fight on my old shitty PC in my bedroom while eating candy and literally fist pumping the air. I remember sleeping over at my friends house and watching four new episodes back to back on toonami (Naruto vs Neji) while eating pizza and practicing hand signals. I'll never forget the excitement I used to feel for this series when I was younger. It might've had it's ups and downs the past few years, but I'll always have very fond memories of Naruto. It was a huge part of my childhood and young adulthood. This is truly the end of an era in my world. I'll always remember it fondly. |
| Lets see, my friend showed me some of the second season of the anime in my 8th grade year. That would have put me at about 13-14. I turn 21 next month. So, that means about 7~ years. I watched it for awhile, but eventually I decided to stick to the manga. Incidentally, it's also what got me into anime/manga. So I will always have fond memories of it, even though it has some problems. |
