| Good episode. I do think if law had more energy he put up more of a fight. Glad Sanji and crew our heading back. I was afraid they be MIA for awhile. Maybe Franky best moment since Ennis lobby. Respect to him after that speech. But did not expect law to get thrown right in-front of Zoro and Luffy. Obviously law probably too big of character to die like this. So I expect he be fine. It is nice how he trust the straw hats so much. But with the admiral, vice admiral and doflamingo all in one place. It seems like Luffy and/or Zoro might get a fight with them. I am curious to see how Zoro would do vs flamingo. I think he be a good sport. I wonder if Luffy joins in if this will disqualify him from the rest of the tournament. Intrigued to see how this plans out. |
| The more they do these types of moments where a member plans to "disobey" Luffy, but still gets a pass, the more I get mad about how Usopp was treated in Water 7. No matter the context, fact is it almost went in the same direction. And although they did reconcile with each other post-Enies Lobby, we never really got an answer to their stance on the chain of command. I get how it made sense narratively, since out of all the crew Luffy and Usopp seemed the most sibling-like. Therefore, it made for some good drama. But if the conflict revolved around following orders, wouldn't it also made sense to bring it up for Sanji (also during Water 7 with Robin) and now Franky? |
