I remember that wen part 1 was airing, many ppl were dissapointed. So, is this actually better in animation or it was just having better story on these arcs?

Imo anime is as good as always. Part 2 definitely better in terms of action and plot progression. Anyone who says the animation is bad is trippin’ cause the animation is really good

Both. Part 2 took a deep dive into the world of Sakamoto Days and reflected the action and comedy a lot better. I still enjoyed part 1, but part 2 was just too consistently fun

yes! I've thought of this too. I think part of the reason I felt season 1 to be "not as good" was because there was so so much hype and my expectations were really high, and when that happens, they're hard to fulfill. but now I feel that I've come to grow affection towards the characters and even if it's violent lmfao it's just so comforting and fun to watch

I enjoyed part 2 very much. It had good actions, and the introduction of new characters got me excited. I like how we're getting info about the past connections of the characters. Overall, it was very entertaining.

I enjoyed Part 1 more because while this season slightly improved animation especially in the second half, I thought the first arc was pretty boring and kind of ruined an interesting setup with what ended up being mostly lame enemies. Also until the second arc there was much less comedy than part 1 and had basically no endearing moments like the first had.

It was slightly better. But I think Production I.G should do the second season, if it ever gets announced. TMS Entertainment is just not the right studio for this series.

Half of season 2 was taken up by an exam arc. Season 1 was better by default (plus it had a casino episode and I'm a sucker for those).

This show has gained a lot of viewership on Netflix and that one episode of takamura made it even more popular, Netflix will definitely run it for few more seasons.

yes much better, part 1 didn’t feel like oh legendary assassin, seemed more like a kids episodic show for me but part 2 really set off and I really enjoyed it to the point I started reading the manga too
