I wanted to know about category which is most popular in Industry

Well my favorite is Comedy and Action
(Horror is the worst as there is nothing horror in the anime)

my favourite would probably be yuri or something, although i like fantasy, mystery sci-fi (specifically cyberpunk), and lots of other stuff too. least favourite would probably be like, shoujo or drama.

my favorite genre is definitely slice of life, it’s probably one of the few genres where I think it’s actual hard to screw up; I’ve genuinely only seen one slice of life that I disliked

and that is Mitsudomoe, nothing wrong with it but the character designs really threw me off especially the dad

Magic and Shoujo are genre I dislike generally but some outstanding works in those genres are an exception like Madoka Magica, FSN HF, Furuba The Final.

Shounen/Shoujo/Seinen drama/action/romance are my favourites. Normally can't stand slice of life or Josei, but there are exceptions. Horror and comedy don't really appeal to me either since horror is basically absent from anime and I don't really find anime humour funny. I think the only anime I've ever laughed at was the second season of Saiki Kusuo.

My favorite is by far Slice of Life but I also like Action, Comedy, Romance, and Thrillers.

What I don't like is Harem, ecchi, and somewhat Fantasy (the isekai ones are like a hit or miss, I'll like stuff such as Re:zero but not How not to summon a demon lord).

Some of my favorite category's I like are action, shounen, fantasy, sometimes comedy and horror. Now I dislike harem, since every harem show is the same, ecchi, sometimes SoL, and yaoi (haven't heard of any yuri anime)

It all depends on the story in the end, but generally I like psychological animes and dislike mecha, isekai, and harem.

However, I still can tolerate disliked genres as long as the anime has a compelling story. For example, Code Geass and Bokurano are categorised mecha, yet I really enjoyed those shows because of the story of the anime as a whole and because they went beyond its genres.

I like psychological, mystery, sci-fi and action mainly. I also like romance but it depends a lot on how interesting or unique i find the anime. (I also like ecchi but shush, I’m not supposed to talk about it)

Dislikes? Isekai cause its all mostly the same stuff. Ofc good ones like SAO, Re:Zero, Mushoku Tensei, No Game No Life also exist.
