| I think it's worth noting that there are now official subs for Victory Gundam. The fansubs that were the sole source of subs in the past, and the edited ones for the BD encodes (EG), can be outright wrong, with characters saying the opposite of what was actually said. This creates obvious problems and inconsistencies. For example in episode 14: Fansub: https://i.imgur.com/udDhCzE.jpg Official subs: https://i.imgur.com/raQaOJM.jpg And there are many other examples of stark differences. I can only assume that the official subs are correct in each instance (like this one) because it is obvious when the fansubs are wrong in others. How much of the criticism for Victory comes as a result from these terrible subs? Who knows, but at there is at least a more correct alternative now. |

| Awesome, dude! Thank you for this post. I'm in the middle of watching the show and I've noticed inconsistencies with the subs and also how little time the subs remain on screen. Even with that said, I still appreciate the individuals who still took the time out to at least attempt to translate a Gundam show to the Gundam fan base. I'm still digging this show so far even with these fan subs. |

I'm still digging this show so far even with these fan subs. Honestly dude, all their hard work isn't worth much. The subs are terrible and they change the experience considerably. I mean you can get the general idea of what's going on, but characterization, motives and even simple details and plot points are distorted in the fansubs to the point that they are misleading or completely nonsensical. If you actually want to understand what's going on and need subs, the official ones are the only real option. |

| besides torrents of this new official sub has it been uploaded anywhere on any site? does any one know? or is the old regular sub still the only one to be found in sites? |
