| A character like Edward Elric has multiple itterations that differ quite a bit, FMA:B has him acting and ending up very differently than FMA. Being able to pick any one of the animeography/mangaography a character is categorized under as the entry your profile would link to if someone clicked the link that redirects someone to the show's page would be fantastic, or you could choose to link to the manga instead, if that's the version you prefer. And picking out a picture for the character from one show or the other would be a great addition too, it'd make clear which version is your favorite at a glance. I thought of this after I noticed King Bradley in my list was linked to the old FMA and not Brotherhood, and putting anything from HxH on my list would give me a 2011 picture of that character. |
| +1 I wouldn't consider the Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai? version of Kurosawa Ruby to be my favourite. I think this has been suggested and rejected before, but nevertheless I still support it. |

| I was actually thinking about this a few days ago, but decided not to make a thread about it since I have no idea if this has been suggested before. It would be great to let users personalise their list by choosing which pictures they want to display in their list. Right now, there are some characters that clearly have an inferior cover picture, such as Gilgamesh, which I find a bit annoying. Most have a decent cover picture, but there are some that have different pictures that I like more and I would change them if I could. This doesn't have to be restricted to characters either: anime, manga and people also have different pictures you could choose from. I see no reason why this should be rejected since it could easily be implemented. |
