People with great work ethic and motivation to be successful in life, people with a goal in life other than to leech of parents house/food/living expenses? People who try to always stay busy and productive, etc. I think this applies to an extent.... do you guys look for that in a romantic partner? Not being fully on the same page might cause issues in the relationship in the future etc. Discuss. |
| Kinda depends on what the person is working hard in, if it's something I dislike, then it's no. Sure being passionate is your own thing, I tend to be more relaxed in most areas, I kinda think like that guy from Hyouka, if I have to do something, I'll do it fast, if I don't have to do it, I won't. I think I would value cleverness over hard work. |

| I have more respect for people who are hard working and motivated because it means that the person has goals and hopes to accomplish them one day. Its actually a very healthy way to act. I'll use a real life example I know someone who felt they didn't have to work so instead when they wanted something they would go and just steal from a store. And justify it by the fact that they needed to eat and they didn't have the money and couldn't get a job. Started off with small things some gum a drink then moved on to bigger things. They saw no problem with acting that way. They aren't my friend anymore after I found that out because I work in retail people still all the time from stores in retail because they feel no ones looking ect. Doesn't make you much of a trust worthy person. But this is just how I feel maybe some people have different views. |

In general though, I would prefer to have friends with great work ethic. I think this is an important quality and these people inspire me to step my game up.
