| Nice chapter. I liked the new mode but why is it only a onetime power up? Can't see Zeref going down just like that. As said above removing the curse would be nice. I hope using igneels power will be a big step for Natsu's dragonification. |

| Don't bother with the low quality joke scanaltion. Just wait for Mangapanda or mangastream. Natsu putting in work and I love how some people think Zeref has no chance of dying here. Except he can if he's not the true final boss of this story. On the other hand Invel's reaction to his emperor being revealed as Zeref was rather intriguing. PS: Mangastream version is up. Go read that one |

| Who the F*** is Lucy's mom? Even Zeref mentions her in his "dying" he wishes moments. And has this Anna ever been mentioned before? Anyway, it was nice seeing Zeref smile :) I really want Natsu to find out about their connection. Dragon King mode is pretty cool. I wonder if it's really gonna be a one time thing? There's still Acnologia and Grey to fight :P Ofc Zeref isn't dead either but I don't see Zeref dying by defeat in a fight so it doesn't matter. |

Plus the fact that Zeref thanks LAYLA of all people in his last mometns also raises a truckload of questions. People complaining about this only do so because they fell for the trap that Mashima laid out since the arc started. Final arc of the series my ass. |

| Pretty sure Anna is Zeref's mother. Mashima did some art of a woman who hugely looks like Zeref in the face so it could be her. Also, the prediction I made about Natsu having Igneel's powers in the form of a tattoo over a year ago was spot on. Woo~ |

| The way Zeref's acting I really hope that he's not dead and ends up giving an overly dramatic dying speech only to realize after a beat that he's not dead yet. Then he and Natsu can share an awkward silence. |
| The plot thickens..... The chances of Zeref being dead is 0.000000000000000000001%. We haven't even seen the rest of the Spriggans yet. Fuck, the guy doesn't even know whether he'll die. Even if Natsu beats Zeref, could FT take out the rest of the Spriggans? Considering Natsu used his trump card and all. 4/5, too much talking. I wanted more action. |

Acnologia of all things "respects" Zeref enough to directly talk with him(remember when Zeref explained that Acnologia would never talk to humans because for him we're like bugs, the same way Humans would never talk to a bug) and he even mentions that with the power Zeref has, he can rule the world aswell, I seriously doubt Acnologia would say that just because Zeref is immortal, Acnologia has probably seen Zeref powers before and thus why he "respects" him. |

| It was weird as fuck seeing Zeref get his ass kicked, like that. And, on top of that, I was hoping that this fight would last a few chapters, not seemingly ending after one. Like, 264 chapters of buildup (for the Natsu VS. Zeref fight), and nearly 400-something for Zeref's defeat (from the first time the name "Zeref" is mentioned, early on in the series), only to (seemingly) end like this? :/ We better get some E.N.D. shit out of this, or a confession to Natsu from Zeref, or something, or I'm going to be extremely pissed. Zeref can't die like this. No way. On to the names he mentioned, I would definitely like to see how acquainted he was with Igneel, and their story. Anna, I'm sure of, is Natsu and Zeref's mother. Mashima drew a picture of a young woman resembling Zeref on his twitter, without giving a name, which supports that theory. Maybe we'll get some stuff on her, next chapter. Layla... That name again. Here's a twist: Layla is actually Natsu and Zeref's mother, and Lucy is their sister! DUN-DUN-DUNNNN!! But no. I wonder how they are connected? Perhaps he killed her, or something? And too bad his "last" line, wasn't out loud, however, I'm guessing it'll be one of those "I knew all along" moments, or one of those Naruto-esque moments, where they were able to trade thoughts through those blows, and Natsu is going to stop short and go off on Zeref, lmao. There is also the possibilities, that the attack will stop just short of reaching him, or the attack merely kills the Ankhseram's Curse, within Zeref. Either way, I can't wait for next week's chapter. :3 Don't screw with me, Mashima! |

| SUGOI! HYPE, HYPE, HYPE!! I really want to see how this whole battle ends. And theres no way that Zeref would fall that fast. This Natsu's attack might do a lot of damage to him, but Zeref won't die that easily. |
