| A lot of things dropped in this chapter, the Ginyu Force incoming, Frieza's premonition and the first mention of the Super Saiyan, and of course more mention of Zenkai, which isn't called that, but the ability the Saiyans have where their strength massively increases after near-fatalities. It's not necessarily the most compelling characteristic, but it kinda fits in line with all we've seen from like Goku throughout Dragon Ball, so I'm fine with it being an established ability. I suppose it can also cut out training segments which is nice. The plot's moving along nicely now, with Zarbon having captured Vegeta and Krillin reaching the Great Elder. |
| frieza mentioning SS and a lot of buildup. dragon ball will always will be the story with serious buildup than boring and dragging one. |
