I'm really glad Yahiko was able to do something this time around and prove that he's not just an extra character.

I am getting tired of all this none death bull crap though. The only hope I have is to watch Saito fight again.

Hurray for the underdogs! Yahiko actually mimicked Ryu Tsui Sen and pulled off a victory! Kaoru and Misao's teamwork pulled one off too (the small flashback of the Oniwaban was nice), and they even prevented the trap from committing Seppaku.

Now that Fuji (befitting name) is here, and all the defences are in critical condition... there can only be one hope,

The sad thing about this show is that for every good episode there is ton's of shitty ones like this.

Lame fight and they only won because scrip fucking said so.And you know that it was a bad episode because even the director choose to not to give it a good animation like for the other main fights.

Have to say I quite like Kamatari. Nice episode, but what I'm looking most forward to is Kenshin vs Sojiro!

So Yahiko stood his ground and finally took out bird-brain, but at the cop of collapsing, good man... kid..

And finally, some serious screen time with the giant, this will be exciting.

It's those moments where they finally give Yahiko a chance to prove he's NOT just talk, that he really HAS gotten better, that I enjoy. Way back when he did good in the episode with Tsubame, to now, really show his improvement from before, which was almost nothing, lol.

Fight with Misao and Kaoru v.s. fag was okay, I wish Kaoru would just fight more so I can get more respect for her tho. She hardly seem like a good fighter at this point, I need a real reminder. Misao was good of course, even though she's loud sometimes, I like her. That sweet flashback of her and the Oniwaban made me tear up. ;w;

Man, that fat guy was WORTHLESS. XD Freaking negative IQ. Scurried away for some reason? Maybe even in his stupidity he realized he couldn't win? Idk, I don't even think he knew he was fighting...

Next time they fight a giant. LOL. Y'know, for the last few episodes, since they said who was going to fight where, I was wondering where the little old guy and the giant went, and I guess they were saving them for now.

Mm, I'm feeling the sentiment shared by others that this was a weaker episode. You know there was absolutely never any danger that any of the MCs would actually die. Them defeating the Juppongatana seems a little farfetched though. Handpicked men and women by Shishio being defeating by a kid and some teenagers? Meh.
It's an entirely different kind of flying, altogether!

Really weak episode the Juppongatana just looked like complete geeks one got defeated by Yahiko a complete rookie and Kaoru who is only here to be a love interest while the other Juppongatana member just ran away.

Ridiculous episode. Batman? Flying on a wooden door?
And why didn't he use his sword as a bat to kick the bombs away?

Kenshin's been hyping up his master's return for a while, I wonder what he'll do when he shows up.

Glad that Yahiko was finally able to demonstrate some actual ability, even if it was against an utter joke of an opponent. He says he's been training daily and gotten much stronger. But he's been at it for a year at most and is still a kid. Feeling he can easily stand toe to toe with adults who are near masters in their art is a suicidal headset to have. He got incredibly lucky with his matchup.

Guessing it's an unfortunate age thing where old shounen set up seperate fights in the same area but are completely incapable of having them written occuring simultaneously. They all just stand and commentate while the bat-freak gets knocked to the ground. And Kamatari fight was incredibly disappointing. They ball chain had already been quite clearly shown as part of the scythe, yet as soon as the fight begins, Misao completely forgets about it. And when Kaoru is left alone, Kamatari's entire gimmick is just spinning it around. What was even the point of having the blade if it wasn't going to be utilised? Stop/start, and a lot of talking and monologuing actions for the viewer even if it was obvious.

Really wish I hadn't seen comments claiming this was supposed to be a huge improvement over the intro filler. The fight quality barely seems any different. And that giant. How the fuck are they expected to explain that in any way? The show was stretching from being completely grounded, but that thing just takes the piss at this point =_=

What in the world was that? He was obese and light footed along with borderline retarded. And then a giant.
