Richard Epcar and Derek Stephen Prince in the same cast as Andrew Francis? What is this, I don't even. As a matter of practicality, you don't mix the regions like that. Yeah, I know. But they said create your own dub cast ideas, so why not? Isn't this whole topic supposed to be for fun anyway? Besides, my knowledge of voice actors is still relatively small, which is why I'm trying to expand my horizons and watch other dubs of anime that are coming out. Also, this topic is just for made up casts. It's not like it'll actually happen. |

Sounds like you're going for a Funimation cast, even though To Love-Ru is actually a Sentai Filmworks property. Kara Edwards and Trina Nishimura would thus be out of the question, and even though Colleen Clinkenbeard did do a show for ADV back in the day, it'd be next to impossible to get her for a Sentai production now. Also, an Animax actor? Seriously? If I had to pick actual Sentai regulars to fill in the gaps: Josh Grelle or Chris Patton as Rito, Emily Neves as Nana, and Jessica Boone as Momo? |

| Hanasaku Iroha is pretty much confirmed to never be dubbed ever, but if it were to be dubbed I've got some picks for a dub cast assuming it's by Bang Zoom Ohana Matsumae- Kari Wahlgren Minko Tsurugi- Cristina Vee Nako Oshimizu- Stephanie Sheh Kouichi Tanamura- Johnny Yong Bosch Yuina Wakura- Michelle Ruff Tohru Miyagishi- Bryce Papenbrook Tomoe Wajima- Karen Strassman Renji Togashi- Steve Blum (Not a noteworthy character, but I just wanted to put Steve Blum in somewhere because) Also Girls und Panzer gets a dub in December. I'm not familiar with the female pool at Sentai apart from Luci Christian, Hillary Haag, Emily Neves and Brittney Karbowski. Anyone have predictions? |

Anyone have predictions? Monica Rial, Jessica Boone, Carli Mosier, Shelley Calene-Black, and Kira Vincent-Davis are also major players in the Sentai pool. I could rattle off a ton of names for some of the lesser-known members: Maggie Flecknoe, Serena Varghese, Shannon Emerick, Rozie Curtis, Melissa Davis, Stephanie Wittels... In any case, though, it wouldn't be enough to fully cover all the roles that need covering. There will be doubling. At the very least, Monica might even need to pull triple duty, like what she did with Negima for Funimation. Depending on who's writing the adaptation script and who's directing, it may be surprisingly awesome... or it may be a complete and total mess. Given Sentai's current track record with its in-house productions, I'm leaning way towards the latter. Of course, there's the off chance that Sentai might have outsourced Girls und Panzer to Bang Zoom!, but that's an option usually exercised only when there's an original dub cast that needs to be preserved (K-On!, Persona 4, et cetera). A man can dream, though. |

| Light accents would be appreciated as long as they still sound cute. Although the last time Sentai did accents was Infinite Stratos which didn't turn out so good. But the thing with Infinite Stratos is that accents are completely unnecessary. It's not entirely necessary in the case of Garupan but I can see them working if they do them right. I doubt they're going to outsource it to Bang Zoom though. They did it with K-On because Bang Zoom did Season 1. They did it with P4 because the game was done by Bang Zoom. Speaking of which, I'm hoping Funimation do the same with the Hyperdimension Neptunia dub. I haven't played the games (tfw no ps3) but the cast list (Filled with Bang Zoom regulars) looks amazing. |

Sure, there are Funimation titles like Attack on Titan and The Woman Called Fujiko Mine that set a precedent, but the moment Sentai Filmworks actors enter the mix, all bets are off. You are never gonna get Greg Ayres, Margaret McDonald, and Genevieve Simmons in the same cast as Grant George, Shelby Lindley, and Karen Strassman. Ever. Some of these lists are amusing to look at in hindsight, though. All that speculation regarding Attack on Titan, and the only correct guess was J. Michael Tatum as Erwin Smith. It's also amazing that someone correctly predicted the roles for Patrick Seitz and Steve Staley in Kill la Kill (and the one regarding Laura Post was half-right; she played a Kiryuin, but not Satsuki). |
