The scene in anime definitelly lacked some tension on the other hand. Not to mention that Tomoya's decision at the end of this episode would eventually lead into bad end, I really don't know what they are trying to do here. It's not a good habit to compare anime with it's VN/manga source too much. Sure in VN there are different paths and more development for each character, but anime needs to condense things up and so far KyoAni doing great job with Clannad. Loved that random Fuko appearance! Good stuff can never get old. xD |

| much better episode. This anime shines when Kyou is the focus. She and Tomoya have the best interactions. I like Nagisa, I would date her. But Nagisa can sometimes make the anime boring. Tomoyo is okay. |

| I teared up when Okazaki was thinking of Nagisa & how he feels like he’s not doing enough for her & isn’t good enough for her. I feel so much for Okazaki, he’s so broken. I want him to have happiness (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`) Kyou is such a good sister, looking out for Ryou & putting her sister before herself, even if she likes Okazaki too. How selfless! And I didn’t like Ryou initially but seeing her feel bad & holding back for Nagisa’s sake, all these girls are so kind & have great character. Tomoyo is falling flat a little now compared to the other girls. Hope to see more character development in the next episode, seems like she & Okazaki will open up to each other more. Also I laughed like mad when Okazaki started stripping & then chanting for the “curse” to break off & the doors unlocked when it’s actually just another student looking for Kyou. Lol!!!!! The humour is so deadpan funny. |

| The story doesn't seem to be progressing, yet there's only a few episodes left. Also the harem didn't really fit and it felt so out of place... but that's how all harem is like, so I guess I'll stop complaining about that. |

| This episode just didn't fit right for me. The storage room part felt out of place, and not something this show would do. I can't say I hated it, but I didn't like it either. Ep Score - 4/10 |

| Okazaki is just pulling all the girls. Tomoyo is now all over him. It feels too sudden NGL. She said it was fun being with him yet that looks like it was her first time going anywhere outside the school with him. Poor Sunohara. I hope he gets a happy ending too. However, him begging Tomoyo to touch her body was a loser move. Okazaki is right. He just doesn't have MC energy cuz he is the comic relief character. Lol at the charm working. This moment (him taking the fall for the fight) would have been better for making Tomoyo like Okazaki. Also, has it ever been shown why he is such a delinquent? Like what did he do to get a record? |
| Tomoyo was already best girl the moment she first appeared, but with this episode with substantial focus on her, my positive opinion on her just increased even more. She gives me slight Kanbaru (arguably best girl of the monogatari series ok) vibes, maybe that's why we like her so much. Perhaps I should be stoned to death for this, but I'm glad that Nagisa is off-screen for now. To me she is such a boring character, and should give more room for the more fun ones like Tomoya and Kyou. No doubt my opinion will change later in After Story probably, but for now she doesn't exactly perk my interest whenever she's on screen. Also I'm curious as to which anime was the first to begin the locked-in-a-storeroom cliché, Clannad aired back in 2007, this has to be one the first isn't it??!! Or probably not since they literally stated the cliché and even had a charm set up for it. It was nice to dream though that I had found the birthplace of the locked in storage room cliche. ALRIGHT SO ANYWAY Tomoyo easily best girl no question no contest, BUT Kyou is a VERY CLOSE runner-up, she straight up was ready to DO IT fam. Would've been a perfect episode if Tomoyo would've just been able to let loose and go on a full rampage on those guys without getting continuously interrupted |
