| This was actually better than I thought it would be from what was shown in last episode's preview. I hope we get some explanations cocerning "last season's ending never happened, wtf is going on" part. I was disappointed that they switched the opening but the new one is really nice too. Now I just hope for less "filler" episodes like this one and more Ciel and Sebastian vs. Alois and Claude. At least Grell is back next week. |

| Now that I've read everyone's opinions on here, I wish the episode was a bit more creepy, too. It would've been a nicer way to reintroduce the characters and the show rather than the super happy feeling this episode had. :/ Another note: I FREAKING HATE ELIZABETH. GAAAH I HOPE SHE BURNS. She's so freaking annoying, her voice, the way she acts, the trouble she causes to everyone around her, and she's just generally unpleasant. I agree that I'd rather see Ciel end up with no one than with that skank. >:( I'm sure we'll have Alois and Claude back in an episode or two or three, don't fret. I'm a bit psyched to see Phantomive vs Trancy as well, but I can wait. :P Sebastian > Claude, any day. Can't wait for Grell ad Undertaker next episode~!! <3 >w< PS. The condensed version? 1. Sorry for the troll, lol at butthurt fans. 2. Yes, this is gonna be Trancy vs Phantomhive. 3. No, this will not follow the manga one bit. 4. Yes, season 1 really did happen. 5. Patience is a virtue! Watch until ep4/8, that's when things will finally get going! I feel like this episode was mostly just service, as in 'yay look at the old cast being awesome since ppl threw such a tantrum at the new cast'. And I think the next couple of episodes will probably be along the same lines (until ep4 or 8, apparently). They'll probably have some relevance to the overall plot--I'm leaning towards the memory/dream/limbo theory a couple others have brought up--but nothing much explanation-wise. But yeah, I give ep2 the 'cute but boring' verdict. Hope there's not too many more of these before the real fire starts, I'm waiting eagerly! 8D EDIT: Oh yeah,  FTW |

Not to mention, they're brining back Madam red (who is actually seen in the next preview) We might even see Angela, Pluto, Jack the Ripper, the puppet guy and bunch of other randos we know are dead already. | Yeah, the whole time I believed it to be the past. Not only because of the ressurections but it just wouldn't make sense. Sebastian running from Claude and Ciel in his suitcase. I think Sebastian ate Ciel's soul and maybe he is looking for a new one or something lol. Maybe whatshisface. The Trancy kid. But, then just the way it had opened is what makes me unsure if it is the past, the way Ciel was on the boat, but then that could just be a premonition, I DON'T KNOW. I honestly like the chemistry with Sebastian and Ciel. I love them both, and I don't know. I just don't like the idea of watching Kuroshitsuji and not seeing Sebastian and Ciel. I love the show though, only because this episode had Ciel and everyone. Let's see if they will continue with them and explain why Sebastian has Ciel. |

It's the anime producers that I had a problem with [and still do *grin*]. For me, Kuroshitsuji season 1 was probably the biggest dissapointment ever, they had such wonderful characters and such an amazing premise but successfully managed to screw everything up until the very end >_<. Half of the season was just one big stupid nonsense :|. [Sorry, that's how I felt] Anyway, maybe they'll make this season better . I mean, if they inserted Yana Toboso's new characters... maybe they'll make some good quality story too :) |

| You missed my point. They brought back a person we confirmed to be dead. It will make no sense at all to bring Pluto back when Sebastian already said something like only his bones are left. And Sebastian don't lie to his master. Basically they should've indicated that this was an alternative setting instead of trying to connect the end of season 1 with Ciel's revival through his ring. Compared to that, having another mansion or two for a multigajillionaire/noble with a shit load of political power is common sense. |

| Just wanted to post my thoughts on the episode since it made me think alot..about everything xD first of all I didn't really care for this episode. I've never liked Lizzy much though she did go up a few points in my book for just wanting Ciel to be happy. For following something as exciting as the pilot episode this one really had no appeal...the plotline of trying to find a white stag was just boring in my opinion Also as I know a few people have asked already....didn't Lau die last season?? I'm happy that he's back but I would like some sort of explanation. I want more Alois because he is delightfully insane. I also want to see more of that grumpy don't mess with me Ciel. He was too nice in this episode -pout pout- and of course very happy that Grell is coming back! <3 |

| Grell was never shown to die. As for me I think in season 1 Lau, RanMao,Aberlain, Pluto, Ash/Angela and Madam Red all died. Madam Red is shown to die even in the manga so I hope they don't screw everything up and bring her back alive. |

| I don't remember Lau dying in season 1, I thought he escaped to somewhere far off. I know Pluto did die, but the three Phantomhive servents were probably just knocked unconcious. I don't think they died. |

| I'm not sure about the death of Lau and I've never seen him dead either, but I am surely about Aberlain of course. He can't survive on that..and I've no idea who it's that in the next episode(3) and that it's him lol (He got older by mustache) It's just doesn't make any sense (cuz he suppose to DIE), if that was Aberlain -__- , and about madam Red that's was probably just an illusions that made by someone who has power same as shinigami or whoever that has power abilities of some kind like that thing. Anyway I just guessing Blah blah~. |

| Oh forgot to add Drocell to the characters who I think are dead... I mean he had the stuffing beaten out of him, poor guy. I think he's dead. But then again if they are going to resurrect everyone they might resurrect him as well. And then I'd give this anime a well merited 1 Yes a 1... | there is a really easy way they can explain everyone coming back to life. It hasn't happened yet. OR its like fullmetal brotherhood alternate retelling. it seems too much like a reset to be a chronological continuation. it could also be a dream... but I don't think so |
| I knew I recognized the voice in the ED! It's Yuuya Matsushita, the guy who plays Sebby in the Kuroshitsuji musical! 8D And it seems like a non-chronological story indeed, but then the first ep should've been in the future while the rest is in the past again? CielxElizabeth, so cute <3 and Grell and Undertaker! 8D 8D 8D This ep was epic. |
