| I think I'll just do what I should done when I first commented on this thread and just share my personal opinion on this chapter. First and foremost, I genuinely liked it, (not loved it, but liked it). I like how Naruto has bothered to take his fights more seriously and just gets straight down to business as oppose to merely "experimenting" with new techniques. I've especially noticed how he becomes serious once he enters sage mode and considering this is the Nine-tails of all people, who has basically been one big pain-in-the-neck for Naruto, I can understand why he needs to. And while the Nine-tails is definitely giving Naruto a bit of a run for his money, I find it kinda funny how he gets knocked-down by the Rasen-Shuriken and even gets thrown down by the end of his tail, but not to the point where it feels out-right silly such as with Jerry's cousin from Tom & Jerry. I also couldn't help but like how Naruto was trying to pull out the Nine-tails's chakra and yet he had to deal with that black stuff that was apparently corrupting his body. Kinda reminded me of energy-bending from Avatar. Though the thing that made me go "whaaaa..." the chapter was how FAT the Nine-tails got when I don't see him eat at all! What the hell man?! I'm only kidding. Obviously I'm referring to Naruto's mom literally appearing out of nowhere. I can understand Naruto's father seeing him because part of me hoped Naruto would become aware at some point of who his father was since every villager kept talking about him as "the fourth." But Kushina I don't get. Nobody talked about her at all. So I fail to understand what's the point of Naruto meeting her. At the same time, I don't know what to expect about this meeting and hopefully we'll finally know something about Naruto's momm without ruining the mood of the fight too much. The artwork was good, particularly when the Nine-tails fired that blast. Though two things bothered me about this chapter. 1) What happend to Kishimoto's use of perspective angles lately? I miss those a LOT. 2) This is something that has bothered me about not just Naruto but some of the other popular shonen manga as well and that not often enough is detail put into the background, whether the setting is daytime/nightime, in-doors, etc. When you look at pages that have backgrounds with lack of tone/hatchline or shades, it's sometimes hard to tell what the characters are doing at first glance. Not only that, but by the time you watch the anime adaptation, you go, "wait, the clouds were dark the whole time?!" For example I had this very problem with One Piece where once |

Sadly my brain is low in IQ so I can't provide older examples/literature/art before Arakawa did the so called 'hatred portrayal'. Kishi being 'desperate' is just opinion, or someone here is an assistant that works under him and can proclaim true that Kishi has been 'desperate'. |

That also explains her name. I know that her sudden appearance is not exactly original, but I truly hope that this way, we'll get more information about her. | lol honestly it seems to me this was to be expected. seeing as not much info has been given about those two they can be brought in at just about any point. i think it is more cliche than untimely. it also makes sense that if it is his father who maintained the seal and its integrity, it is his mother who would be responsible for its release and control of the nine tail. it has already been shown that the 4th didn't just seal the nine tail but also added some contingencies to it. |

| Oh man... Kishi, what have you done. It was probably one of the shitest chapter I've read since 'Aizzzzzzzzen just as planned' moment from bleach. I mean, fighting super, strong foxy and suddenly 'OMG EVERYONE HATS ME!!!' depression recall, and now YAH MOM has appeared. Is that even supposed to be a cliff hanger? Seriously... even art work was another train wrack in this chapter. That fox and YA MOM's faec was just... eh I know Naruto went completely downhill after Sasuke imofaggotry. Creativity is gone and plot is zigzag. Never thought it will get THIS far. Zero_Rezult said: I totally agree.Aside from that, all those moves were crazy, and not in a particularly good way either.
