| Props to the boys here, they actually got some good work done. Wasn’t even about that though; just seeing how good the chemistry between all six of them already was amazing. Other shows struggle to get good chemistry with two characters, let alone six like this. Like just that little interaction with Saku trying to “explain” how he got his answer after everyone said he sucked at it was just too funny, and him blushing as well was the cherry on top xD Anyways, for a second there I was getting kinda worried that these dudes didn’t even know what the word “romance” meant, because they never once looked at either of the two like that. But they finally broke the ice this episode and straight-up went for it, asking Rintaoru if he liked Waguri or not… and to no one’s surprise, he started blushing. GAHHH, he was just too cute in that scene. Even cuter in his "clumsy Rinatoru" state as well in that bowling scene lololol. Yorita with the save there though, brought him back to his senses and just being the W homie that he is, telling him that whatever he decides with Waguri, he’ll be on his side no matter what... :) And speaking of Waguri, her birthday's coming up soon!  Btw, sad to see they cut a lot of stuff out this episode. Really hope they’ll go back and adapt it in these last couple episodes, especially a specific scene inside of Kikyo that they skipped here. |

| The group of six proceed to a restaurant. After ordering and eating some food, they begin studying. Shohei, initially dozing off after staying up to revise the night before, is motivated once Kaoruko mentions buying desserts after they've finished studying. Saku helps Subaru solve a difficult maths question. Ayato admits that Saku is terrible at explaining stuff, and this is reinforced by Kaoruko and Subaru's confused expressions after hearing Saku's explanation to a question. Must Say Saku-Chan is a Novice at explaining things to others 😂 adorable to be honest.  |

| It really warms my heart to see the boys and girls hanging out so casually, having fun, laughing, studying and just being normal teenagers. It’s like for a few hours after school, none of that classism bs matters and they’re all just 15-16 year old kids. That’s what this is all about, showing how similar people are despite perceived differences! It’s so cute how Kaoruko has become the mother figure of the entire group now, she’s like a radiant bundle of joy that infects and brightens up everyone around her. Even rintaro’s friends can’t help but be a little moved lol. I’m proud of Rintaro for trying to improve his grades and studying habits on his own as well, that’s Kaoruko’s impact. Motivating him to be a better person(already great) and better student. Laughed so hard when Subaru seen how Chidori’s workbooks are the ones she used in middle school and Saku still ended up instantly solving the equations 🤣 you can see her interest in him instantly increase in that moment. She’s so cute. Congrats to the fellas for not failing their exam. I love how that’s the bar for success lmao. I just love how tight knit the chidori boys are. They might not be the brightest, but I’d take the warmth and energy of that school over a pretentious private school where people look down on others any day. W teacher for not giving the boys any homework over break so that’s one less thing they have to worry about. That also means more time for Rintaro to think about and hang out with Kaoruko! Speaking of which, the way Rintaro’s friends so obviously peeped that he has a crush on Kaoruko is so funny. Even people with zero dating experience know what’s going on here! Rintaro worrying about what dating entails is sweet, but not necessary. They’re basically doing it already, that just puts a title on it is all lol. “Seeing Waguri-san smile is enough for me” ahhh he’s so freaking sweet. I can’t wait to see the smile he puts on her face when he gets a birthday gift for her. Subaru might have put her nose in their business, but I’m sure Kaoruko will love whatever Rintaro comes up with, likely a cake of some sorts lol. |

| Was nice to see the group interact. Saku's really smart even by kikyo standards. Loled at them using materials that Hoshina covered in middle school. Rest of the episode was fun stuff with the boys. |

| This episode spanned Chapters 23 to 26. Some parts were not adapted like on Chapter 24 where it was shown what happened also to the girls classroom. Nonetheless, still a masterpiece. Last 3 episodes to go. Hoping will see the . 🌸🌸🌸 |

I am begging that Rintaro and Waguri get together by the end of this, I really want to see that happen in the upcoming episodes because it'll make this anime so much better. | Good episode, but as others mentioned here they did cut A LOT of manga interactions. Other than that this episode was fine. Tsuka-chan showing to everyone that he is the best sensei and our gang deepening their bonds. |

| Not too much happened, doesn’t make sense the boys didn’t realize the group was being fishy on the side walk. Kind of a replay of the baseball tournament where Rintaro is out of it but locks in. Studying and passing exams replayed. Cute but kind of a nothing burger 4/5 Liked it |
| Another wholesome episode. We start with the group study sessions at the restaurant. The boys have clearly picked up the hints from kaoruko & rintaros convos about their relationship & are glad about where its going. Kaoruku and usami have a mom & child bonding now after how she knew how to encourage him to study. cute Rintaro showing signs of self dependency and working hard to study has made kaoruko really happy, her eyes were literally tinging with happiness. Kikyous fcking so advance in their studies that chidors current workbook was their highschool year one. Rintaro looking at waguris serious studying face for the first time was quite the reaction. Bro just drifted so far he had to make waguri make him explain the solution again. Like i dont blame i would too but cmon bro focus! xD Subaru gets stuck on a problem and idk what usami was thinking, bros brain got melted. But then came our genius boy saku and man i knew he was smart but hes really like gifted smart. Subaru was quite surprised and impressed as well I am feeling the spark somewhere there but ill wait. Unfortunately everything has to have a weakness and sakus is apparentl teaching & he sucks at it which is bluntly & cruelly revealed by ayato. xD Poor sakus heart got broken and he even tried again by teaching the girls to fail spectacularly. My poor guy cant catch a break. But fortunately the boys still passed but sakus still sulking. Loved the little speech by the teacher tsuka to the boys, reminding them about responsibilities but also not to forget to enjoy their student life as it is limited and precious. Man i wish i could go back to my days seeing this and yea we do look back to it. So anyone in school do cherish your days & try to make the most of it. Adult life is not all sunshine & rainbows. The boys decide to hang out and go for bowling with rintaros suggestion. Rintaor again reminscing his life, the changes happening and ofc kaorukos involvment in it. Usami asks the obvious question to rintaro about him & kaoruko dating which catches rintaro offguard, usami also further exposing saku & ayato knowing about it too. But usami also offers him help if he ever needs it with helping him with his relationsip with kaoruko which was wholesome af. He can be too blunt & a little insensitive but usami is a true bro and a wingman. Rintaro just died out of embarassment lol & also is now in a panic thinking if waguri knows it too. Little does he know We game on with the bowling session. Saku is good at it as well, my allrounder boy much to the other boys disappointment. But the team is still losing cause rintaro is still in his embarassed panic state. Ayato goes up to him and has a nice pep talk. Even without experience when you can give someone honest and rational opinions about your problems, tbh thats one the best things you can do & ayato did just that. What a homie.   He has noticed the changes in rintaro as well and happy that he trusts them more now which rintaro confirms by responding properly in return with clear words. Then they both proceed to destroy usamis team like the demons they are lol xD poor usamis broke ass crying in the group chat not being able to fund the lunch. (Rip the bald guy in the middle who was happy to get free lunch)  Anyways rintaros excited for this summer with kaoruko and as if the gods heard his wishes, subaru messages him right at at the same moment & telling her about kaorukos birthday date. This is gonna be something look forward to watch and to see how our boy prepares for it. Also kudos to subaru being the wingwoman <3 |

| This was mostly an episode with the boys. Kaoruko and Subaru joined the boys at this anime's version of Jonathan's (Johnsan's) to eat and study. And as a result, they did well on the test before summer break. The boys in the class went bowling, and Usami almost spilled the beans on Rintaro and Kaoruko in front of the other boys. But then, Rintaro is being spaced out and obvious about his feelings toward Kaoruko. While bowling, Rintaro is clumsy again, but Yorita talks with him, and cheers him up. They then go on to win the game. That night, Subaru suddenly texts Rintaro and tells him that Kaoruko's birthday is on the 22nd. This was a fun episode, one that really solidified Rintaro's friendship with the others, and also made it quite obvious to the others that he likes Kaoruko. So, what's going to happen during summer vacation? And a birthday? Looking forward to it! |

| Great ep Lol, Usami gets bribed too easily. Saku getting embarrassed was so funny. He really thought his explanations were elite despite being so damn smart. This ep should definitely be called "Blushworks" with the amount of times that characters have blushed this ep. (Saku and Rintaro). Rintaro so obvious, haha, tho it's great to know his friends have his back, considering that he is much more open and trusting to them. Birthday is next ep, huh. This ep adapted ch 23-27. Every chapter that was adapted was summarized in a faster manner and skipped sum stuff, which I expected so I can't really be mad. Tho. I feel sum stuff could have been kept. 9.5/10  |

| Subaru is so nervous around the boys that it feels like she's almost a different character from when she was first introduced. Hopefully, she'll get over her boyphobia. Maybe she'd even date one of them. Saku x Subaru could be cute. Yeah. That line about enjoying school life was real. I miss my school life a lot even though it was nothing remarkable. Watching SOL anime like this is also weirdly nostalgic. Ig that's why I enjoy them way more now than before. Usami is one big clueless idiot. I'm no social butterfly but even I know when to keep my mouth shut. But at least now it seems like the whole group is going to be open about Rintaro's feelings and maybe even help him confess to Waguri later on. This could be good. A birthday episode next? I wonder what kind of gift Rintaro could give Kaoruko. It has to be cake lol. |

| We don't get to see him much but that teacher is just as much of a bro as the rest of them for letting them enjoy what's truly important (well, as long as you pass lol) Yorita being the "true final boss" of Rintarou's team is absolutely hilarious. | Decent episode, albeit we’re closing in on the finale with neither Rintaro nor Kaoruko confessing to each other. They’ve just been helping and thanking one another, which, apparently, is what’s going to happen in the upcoming episode as well. Welp, I guess Kaoruko’s birthday is on July 22nd, since Subaru said her birthday is the 22nd of “this month”, and considering they just started summer break, which in Japan usually begins in July, I’m guessing her birthday falls on the 22nd. Hopefully, they confess to each other. |
Funny math guy Usami idiocy do kinda progress the plot steadily. Yorita scary... Even this early can say one of the best supporting friends group in anime I have seen. |
| What a nice calm episode this one was. Honestly I cant believe its already been 10 FREAKING WEEKS already! The show so far has not hit the obvious snags that a lot of romance shows have. And if it did it (the show) would resolve it within the same episode almost. I am honestly loving the character development of Rintarou and how waguri is effecting him in a postive manner. Only for him to fall head first for her. But She's obviously just being herself, and the same with him, which waguri likes. <- those plot points are obvious but I wanted to highlight the unakward incounters these two have had with each other, the clear goals they have for each other, and the poeple around them is shown thorugh their acts and GOD its like watching two ripple effects being effected by each others positive nature. Honestly, the one bad awkward encounter I would assume would play out would be Waguri's school grades dropping but that was all because she's distracted. But that seems to not be playing out. I am not very familiar with smooth sailing romance animes. I am honestly going to go out of my way to look for more of them if they are built the same way. And another thing is how FREAKING NICE the rest of the cast is. Or well the main once. the others kinda, sort feel abit flat. Rating time: Plot: 10/10 exams, goals for summer Theme: 10/10 Rintarou's cute, reaction every time waguri is mentioned Character: 10/10 Yeah, I like Rintarou's friends they're very sweet Ost: 10/10 unbareably calming OverAl: 10/10 NICE!
