| I saw some glimpses of mature conversations in this episode that manga readers have been talking about. But these moments were quickly overshadowed by exaggerated overreactions and absurd rivalry setting between two school that is still hard to get onboard with. |

| It must've been a hard day for the group to study in a library, and Subaru is being a bit protective so I hope she can accept Kaoruko's relationship with Rintarou. The moment when they protect and apologize each other was really cool though :) |

| Waguri is the smart one while Rintaro is the dumb one. Still, Waguri is the top student at Chidori?! That's crazy. The dynamic is getting more interesting. I wonder what the hell Subaru went through to say cringey shit like "all men are the same." It was satisfying to see Saku put her in her place lol. He was out of line but he was right. |

The guys were minding their own business, they mostly do, but yet these h*es from the other school look at them like trash when they aint even doing anything to them. I dont care what past they have, the dudes are innocent yet why do they have to get ridiculed like this on sight? Glad Saku spoke up, thats a real bro! While Rintarou was fine being looked down on and still defending that ass, this mf is a simp. By far the only likable characters are Saku and Kaoruko. |

| Another sweet and heartwarming episode. The tensions between Kikyo's aumnas and Chidori's students are still present, but we finally saw some apologies. It was really touching how Rintarou took the blame for Kaoruko to avoid any more misunderstandings.Their next study date? I'm already swooning. Seeing them blush was adorable, and Kaoruko's smile? It's the kind of beauty that purifies souls. She's a real gem. As for Subaru, I think his attitude towards Kikyo's students might change over time. I don't think she has romantic feelings towards Rintarou, based on their interaction and her little spat with Natsusawa, something could form. And Kaoruko's bespectacled friend, I still don't know if she'll be very relevant or if she'll end up paired with one of Rintarou's friends, but since she's close with Kaoruko and didn't react negatively to the boys, I have a good feeling about her. |

When Subaru asks Kaoruko about Rintaro, she describes him as "a very kind person". Later in the evening, Kaoruko calls Rintaro to confirm the date for their study session. He requests for her to speak to him the same way she does to her friends. Little does he know, both of them are equally looking forward to the upcoming study session.  The Last part just My heart can’t take this much innocence In a single scene. Those 2 are too good for eachother man❤️ |
Cuteness Overwhelming 🥲
| Solid third episode with a nice development in the relationship between Waguri and Rintarou. Though, Subaru, Waguri has better grades than you and is at the top of the class, don't be butting in for her. I'm sure everyone in the show has some perception of Waguri being a gentle, needs-to-be-protected perception of her. Not sure if I'm fully on board with that (I think Waguri being the top of the class would make her seem very strong and resilient among others), along with the whole disputes between the two schools. In my opinion, while I'm sure kind of thing is reality, it does not feel very immersive nor believable in this anime. Otherwise, the romance in this anime is crazy cute. How long will this slowburn be...? |
| Amazing ep Being stupid in the stupidest school can be a hassle. Hopefully the motivation of Sports Day and ice-cream can help. Begging Saku is a must at this point. Rintaro and Kaoruko have such a beautiful dynamic. The way Kaoruko wants to make her family proud is so relatable. We finally meet our icy queen, Subaru. Quite mean, isn’t she? Rintaro and Kaoruko doing well as the middleman's, making sure no conflict happens. Ik some of yall think Rintaro is captain save bae or sum rn. 😂 This series really makes me happy, haha. This ep adapted ch 3-4. At this point, I am questioning the director's way of pacing. 3-4 is fine, but if the goal is to get to 39-41, they must move faster. Or they might rearrange some events. Though, Bisque Doll is getting 3-4 chapter adaptions for the last 3 eps so idk the problem besides the fact that Kaoru Hana has more dialogue in each chapter. Idk, I feel like the rearrangement is inevitable. 10/10   |

| I must say Rintaro's circle of friends is very lovable and they're the reason why I adore this episode a lot. The characters---especially the MCs---are truly created beautifully (Rintaro being super handsome, for me at least since I like blondes and earrings in a guy; and Kaoruko, well obviously she's beauty & brains; also the fact that she's not one of the rich girls and only got into a prestigious school through scholarship made me love her more; plus I also dig the tall & short troupe) This might honestly win as anime of the season though it's a bit too early to say since we had a lot of promising list this Summer, but wouldn't be really surprised if it were to happen seriously. |

| Conflict between them was inevitable without too much bother thanks to Rintaro, Kaoruko and Usami. Can't blame Saku as you need to put ignorant people in their place. But Subaru will be a mc so she will probably mellow out later. Just more Kaoruko and Rintaro cuteness. These two are so adorable as always..  Her determination and background made me like her even more than before. Peak waifu peak romance.. |
