| Surprisingly better than what I expected! I really like the whole extremely shy but also extremely overpowered premise they got going on with the main character, who by the way, is really cute! like seriously her reactions are priceless. also dragons that are actually 2D instead of CGI and good music? yeah im gonna keep up with this weekly 100%. |

| I found the direction a bit strange, especially in the scene with the little pigs. About the plot of the events, I just didn't understand why Louis asked his maid to use the silence spell to hide his secret plan even though he was in that cabin in the middle of nowhere while Isabelle shouted the plan revealing all it in the middle of the mansion... lol? I liked the animation and the design, the dragons looks beautiful! Congratulations to the animators, while the use of CGI was actually ok. I hope the next episodes maintain this level of quality. Also, Monica reminds of Marisa from Touhou, but with totally different personality |

| @EnterBasco they're co workers, why'd he not seek for her help? He obviously isn't suited for this and failed to act accordingly. Monica identified the brooch in mere seconds and perfect for espionage. Shameless, maybe. But if he stubbornly insist to act alone the prince would be in danger. |

| Not sure what to make of this first episode. I can definitely feel there's potential here, but the flat presentation of this episode doesn't particularly serve as an engaging hook. On top of that, I'm really not hugely keen on premises that boil down "let's bully the introvert into doing loads of stuff they don't want to do, for their own good". As long as Monica does her job as one of the Seven Sages, is going out of her way to harass her and force her into social situations really necessary? I don't think in that regard that comparisons to Bocchi hold up at all: Bocchi the Rock understands and empathises with its titular introvert, it doesn't put her in a situation where's she getting bullied all the time like this does. Still, I'll give this a chance to see what it actually does with this backstory it's given her for this mission, as it may not turn out to be as unpleasant as it currently sounds. |

| Monica, the main character, is a socially awkward witch. She became known as a genius for becoming the first witch to be able to use spells without chanting. This stemmed from her anxiety, as she came up with an obscure way (learning how to cast spells without chanting just to avoid reciting in front of others) to solve her social anxiety instead of facing it head on (relatable). The animation and art style are good with appealing colors. Plus there is a talking cat that is her familiar, can't get any better than a talking cat. Overall I think this anime has really good potential, and I can't wait for episode 2 to come out. |

| I got a lot of new/returning shows to catch up on but instead of doing that I just decided to rewatch the first episode to this again, Cause holy hell what a start this was. FINALLY a god dam anime giving dragons the respect they deserve, they animated that huge mf beautifully and actually made him look like a real disaster. Unlike some terrible shows with horrible cgi which make dragons boring foot soldiers (Looking at you misfit). But to talk about the anime itself I absolutely love it, Incredible animation, an amazing main character and side cast seems really promising so far. I really like Monica and especially Louis he gives me dazai vibes. and I mean Monica is literally my spirit animal, Just a girl living alone in the mountains with a cat. What more could you need in life. Im curious to see how the plot plays out and if the animation decides to stay the course or if it just nose dives like some shows tend to do. But only time will tell. I had also seen people complaining saying that the anime will be ruined if romance becomes a factor. I do think they should stray from romance for this anime for the better but Im not necessarily opposed to it. I just thinks its not necessary Also credits to the opening song that was stunning to watch with amazing vocals. Looking to be my favourite anime of the season calling it now |

| It's been a really fun start: I love the atmosphere of this anime. I can't help but see Monica as a mix of Bocchi, with her shyness, and Maomao, as it gives the feeling that she must have buried herself in the books to develop that quiet style magic of hers. I like where this is going, but I already feel a little sorry for Monica, who is forced to protect the prince and put up with the arrogant nobleman act that Isabelle will do just so Monica can go unnoticed (as if she's no longer unnoticed). |
