| You know this show would be a lot better if the protagonist is not a sexualized femboy but here we are. But at least they should focus on the battles, cause that part's good. |

I am so done with this anime complete disregard of any logic. Some punks grope church's sister, and priest reaction is: "Oh no, recital will be ruined!". Not only he does nothing to stop the groping, only stands like an idiot, I have no idea how this groping is ruining the recital.
The same can be said about MC. Almost every character can't stop praising him about how kind he is, yet the fact is, that he is a complete asshole. And I wouldn't mind him being an asshole, if it would actually be recognised in the world. And yet here we are, where every other character calls him second coming of Jesus, even through he usually doesn't care at all about other people, and only acts kind when it supposedly benefits him, or rather when the plot suddenly requires it. It is as bad, as other slaver protagonists being "kind" because they don't mistreat their slaves. Just Japan things.
Somehow I forced myself through first season because this anime has some positive aspects as well, but unlike first episode of the first season which gave me hope that this thing can actually be pretty good if I ignore the bad, first episode of this season reminded me about everything I hated about this story.

| @Necris The groping isn't the main issue, it's the thugs that got a beef with the main stars of the recital, hadn't Lloyd teleported them away, they would've kept being a problem for everyone involved in the recital (Just like Lloyd said after they woke up). Also, what was the father supposed to do? Most people at the church can't fight, made evident by Lloyd's backstory about his ban and how no one stopped or even tried to stop Lloyd's summon. As for your second point, I couldn't disagree more. Lloyd's attitude can be very similar to that of a Tsundere, being someone who does care about people but has a hard time or doesn't outright admit to, but in his case his actions speak louder than words. His obsession to magic comes from his admiration of people and dreams, he outright said that to Guisarme last season. It also makes sense in the context of his goals, he doesn't want the attention nor the adulation, the funny thing is, he is still very naive and that's why people sing him praises, albeit discretely because that's what he wants. And really, there is someone who acknowledges Lloyd's problematic attitude and sticks to it, the priest, it is really only Escher who outright praises Lloyd without any solid basis. I don't really blame you for finding some of these annoying, but I can't help but notice some gaps in your understanding of the work, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or missing something, perhaps is me who is lacking in understanding. |

| Calm ep We return 1 year later for our magical shota, Lloyd as he continues to learn more about the magic of this world. With Divine Sorcery in his sights, he aims to learn from infiltrating the same church that shunned him out 2 years ago. He succeeds with the gang and the blonde nun tells the gang of the real reason why he was shunned my the pastor. They run into his sister, who loves music and he saves them from being hit on by some npc's. Lloyd is finally able to experience her music on the piano and due to some eyes that were stalking them at the recital, he follows it with Grim, to what looks like Heaven? Considering that the guy who was watching them on top of the temple in Heaven, he is obviously the one who fought Lloyd in the beginning of the ep. Wonder what the blonde angel's goal is by stalking them, besides seeing if there are any worthy people at the church. Animation looks fine, don't really expect any insane cuts or sequences until we get to the real stuff. Though, ion think it has downgraded. 9/10 |

| Nice to see this back again, I really enjoyed the 1st season. Lloyd is up to his usual antics. Next time is going to be good when we see him fight against that angel was saw at the start. |

| They went for funny but fell flat. It's a boring first episode. It feels as if they took a handful of facts and threw in our face, no order no reminder, no recap and certainly no logic. You can reorder these scenes any way you want and episode would still feel the same. Doubly-sinister is the intro. Give us something to wait for and then proceed to bore our eyebrows off. Yes, can't wait for more pre-pubescent humor and sexual tension wrapped dialog explaining things to us for entire episode to land once again. |

| For those who haven't seen the first season: It's a good anime with juicy fight scenes. They're interesting, not just for fun. There are all sorts of characters, like Sylpha. The art is nice, and there's humor. There is fanservice. The author likes juicy MILFs and shota. Depending on your preferences, the first season was a solid 7 or 8 out of 10. Judging by the first episode, the second season will be just as good. There's action, humor, and fanservice. |

Well, it's not like there's much to say about this second season. Stripping away all the superficial concepts, all that's left is a weak narrative and an amateur script. This time it follows the classic 'trap the protagonist in a school and fill it with a bunch of generic side characters' route.

I don't know where to begin, first-off, I don't even know where these complaints come from, for one, the season JUST started, I don't know what bonkers expectations you have this early but alright, would be nice if you took the time to explain what's so amateurish about the script because I'm left totally confused by that statement, moreso because your very next assessment is totally wrong. I'm gonna give you some credit and assume the "school" setting is just a blanket statement for some sort of institution, guess what (and spoilers I suppose)? They all leave said "school" next episode, so unless one and a half episode is too long for your liking, this barely counts as "trapping" the protagonist. Also don't know about the "generic side characters", I'm just noticing very bland and shallow critiques, which is rather ironic. Wish people used their brains to see just beyond the surface of a work because if not, oh you bet we are doomed. 😂 |
