| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

For the record I hate Himari, I honestly believe that Himari's behaviour to Yuu is really toxic. But... I'm up for the toxic drama potential.
judging from how long the source material is, y'all don't have to worry. I'm sure Himari won't be endgame no matter what. (not spoiler, just my thoughts) I do believe they may end up together at some point but Yuu might discover how toxic Himari is and then boom more drama happen.

| Am actually enjoying the different dynamic for this type of show and think that they're writing some parts really well. The way that Yuu and Himari's actual friendship prevents them from what they actually feel to each other or, when they do, having to play it off as a joke due to the awkwardness of it. For anime romance writing, there's actually some realism in there. I do wish that Rin was written as a more believable love rival though. Outside of the childhood memory thing, she's not bringing anything to the table to make it conceivable that Yuu would go for her. That aspect is very K-Drama-y and she's an "obstacle" for the sake of having one. Shinji is also a weird addition but I'm kinda enjoying the bizarre villain energy he's bringing to things. Loved the bathing comedy jump scare for Yuu. Might actually be my loudest laugh of the anime season so far. |

| More flashback means more context. Seems like Himari created this weird best friend kinda relationship with Yu because she was sick of being with her popular friends. Props to her, I guess? But she probably didn't think she'd actually catch feelings for him eventually. Chad Yu was actually pretty funny. Too bad he can't keep the act up for too long before coming out as a dork. Seems to be pretty effective on Himari tho. What kind of family is the Inuzuka? It seems like everyone and their dog made up their minds that Yu would marry Himari eventually. It's like an unofficial arranged marriage, which is a bizarre way to put it. Especially since Himari herself is technically still best friends with him. When will this charade end? Bruh. The bath scene with Yu and Hibari made me LOL. Hibari is literally the best boy in this show. And he gave a good talking to Himari too. Good for her. Why is Enomoto acting like a jealous girlfriend? It's true that she's not getting much attention lately. The episode ended right when it was getting good. |

| Hi, Enomoto, we barely saw you lately. (...clever choice at the very end to put herself back in the plot, i guess?) However, this is arguably my favorite episode for now, all those amusing moments were needed to breathe air after too much drama, and some really, really paid off. Yuu's reading / explaining Himari's faces for the audience still doesn't get old and the fakeout bathing scene actually took me by surprise (and she looked great in a yukata too). Glad it didn't get weirder like, for example, Megami Cafè Terrace in a similar occasion (immediately thought about it because the involvement of Himari's seiyuu, and both characters can seriously turn into goofballs) |

| Himari was exhausting enough with her constant, "Do you want to date for real?....NOT!," and now Yuu is doing it too, lol. I hope it isn't just continuous episodes of this back and forth nonsense. I don't really like the characters enough to just overlook it. This show needs something significant to happen soon, it is losing me. |

| Yelp, even in the past where Yuu would concentrate on his flower-making, Himari would tease him all the same, yet keep him at a distance as a best friend of the opposite sex. Yet, however, the feelings bottled up close to the point of confession, while still on the cusp of close virality. Still, for Yuu to focus a lot on his flower accessory work to flunk his midterms, and Himari on the side that she's worried that girls will flock to him, they definitely had their usual comedy shtick together, until Makishima chooses to leak You and make the playing field clear between Himari and Enomoto. That said, Himari's entire family being busy...or rather, playing the usual rank that her brother Hibari will be around to help Yuu in his studies, he's stuck with him for studies, and Himari for everything else, like helping him to wash his back...though it's Hibari once again for the tease lols, which he sure gave her a hard lesson of kindness. Oh welp, whatever Yuu and Himari are up to, Enomoto wants a piece of that pie as well... |
