| So, Chizu is already in love... and with no one less than Ryuu's older brother... damn, that's rough. But honestly, for someone like Chizu who was mostly clueless about love during most of the show to suddenly show signals of being in love with a character I've never heard of felt kind of rushed but well, at least the episode in itself was pretty interesting to watch. Also, Ayane being slapped by that shitty guy sure was unexpected, for me at least. But I also found a bit odd the reactions from the rest when they saw her like... that must have been a hell of a slap for leaving that mark even after almost a day and no one even showed a little signal of anger... very odd, being honest but well, I just was expecting a bit more of concern from the rest, that's all. Overall, despite these facts, the episode was still entertaining. Not to mention that it was also pleasant to see Sawako not being the focus for a change. Not to mention that her reactions during the episode were great. |
| oh god, yano-chin, truest words have never been spoken, i couldn't agree more. i loved everything she said. what a character. she's really mature. it's not like i was wishing for something like this from the start - it's not like anyone willingly enters a toxic/abusive relationship ah i love them all. kazehaya, yano-chin, chizu-chan, ryuuuuuuuu, sawako. they are a really interesting clique to watch, all with their distinct personalities that complement one another really well. ryuu is such a babe tho. he's the kind of quiet guy irl who keeps to himself, minds his own business. probably isn't much of a looker, a simple & stoic guy, yet his actions & words are always charismatic, he is probably as warm of a guy as kazehaya is on the inside. that ending scene of him leaving chizu's house made me feel bad for him - he probably finds it hard to express himself & even wanted to confess, a lot of effort & courage on his part. i'm so glad all the supporting characters get ample screentime in the narrative. |
