That was a beautiful episode. I really like and respect Hina. I'm still rooting for Taiki x Chinatsu, but Hina is really catching up. She knows she's at a disadvantage, but doesn't let that make her depressed. She goes all out, she fights with everything she's got while still being respectful and understanding that Taiki likes Chinatsu. She doesn't just stand there doing nothing hoping he notices her. And that's really admirable.

Also, she's cute, she's pretty, and she's really fun ^^

But I gotta say, is it just me or sometimes the animation looks a bit... weird? Like weird proportions, especially faces.

Might end up that way tbh.

Hell no! You mean she’ll be in a coma for the next 2 seasons of the show? 😂

What are you talking about? Who's Hina?

I'm glad to see Hina take a step forward and actually confess since she's liked Taiki more than a friend for a while now. Meanwhile Chinatsu had put boundaries between herself and Taiki and now her leg bracelet broke. However, Taiki probably still likes Chinatsu more (for now) although with Chinatsu overhearing that Hina confessed to him I wonder how she'll react and if she will make a move of her own.

Yeeeeeesh man Chinatsu is NOT having a good time rn from hearing her teammates are gonna leave the team to focus on their entrance exam to shooting the game winner only to miss and then seeing Hina say she loves Taiki her soon to be crush, the guy she’s living with after he “flirted” with her before the finals game like shit is NOT going homegirls way man it’s actually sad tbh😟🙁

This is the part of the story where even manga readers were rooting for Hina, and ppl be like “I hate Hina” but she just adds a flare to the story with her energetic personality and how straight forward she is I mean she literally said straight up that she’s in love with Taiki, you don’t see that a lot in other romance shows yk that’s why she’s a goated character. I LOVE YOU HINA🩷😫

rip Chinatsu. while you can't say she lost the basketball game because of herself, she definitely did push aside her feelings to focus on Basketball and generally avoid the emotional load of dealing with them. that has consequences, and it seems she might be rethinking that strategy. seems like we're gonna have her thinking that it might be too late, but we'll see

wonder how Hina is really doing after the confession. it's hard to figure out how to act in a situation like that, she's putting up a good front but we'll see if she's really that relaxed about it

I liked the parallels during the scenes and also that Taiki rethinks his previous interactions with her and seeing all the signs afterwards. Moreover, that he also is flustered and unsure how to behave towards her then. And I like Hina's playfully teasing towards Taiki!

Slow clap for Hina...that takes guts. Taiki has all sorts of emotions to sort out now. At this point, it's Taiki's loss if he doesn't decide either way. I don't envy his position though he is in a good but pressure-packed spot to decide. Again, hats of to Hina. She's definitely gunning for first.

I know its cus we havent got much story or screen time from Chinatsu but im team Hina. Confessing then using it to your advantage is toxic. I watch romance anime for toxicity. Say kengos girl, karen, likes him too and let it all burn lololol

I rarely side with people saying the female lead isn’t the best girl (as other girls are, most of the time, just there to create jealousy over the main girl).

This time I get it. Hina for the win. She’s the best girl. My bro needs to get a girl that sees him and not someone that begs for him before it’s too late.

Oh, yes~ That symbolism with the misanga breaking right after Chinatsu missed her shot. Absolute cinema 🚬

10/5 episode but seriously tho, no way Hina almost had to spell it out so that Taiki could finally realize she was in love with him. Has this dude always been this dense? Because some part of me seriously thinks he has gotten dumber this last handful of episodes for narrative purposes.

Anyways, excellent episode. Hina deserves everything and Chinatsu overhearing at the end was peak "soap opera" level spiciness.

Hina on the attack is scary, especially at the end when she knows she's got him flustered anytime he sees her; rip for Chinatsu though getting cooked in basketball and coming back to see them talking about it

top tier episode I hope the drama continues

this episode really makes me feel like Hina is the best character in the show for me. I don't root for her and Taiki as it's obvious he only see's her as a friend. But her being brave and actually confessing even though she knew he doesn't like her just do she can actually move forward makes me really respect her. I hope later on in the series she can find someone who deserves her because she's such a great character.

Bro Idk how anyone can pick chinatsu over hina after this ep. Hina clearly the right answer they known each other for year while taiki only met chinatsu in highschool plus chinatsu has took barely any action to make taiki fall for her while Hina , she actually had the guts to ask him out even though, she knows taiki is simping on chinatsu. Do know how hard that is for hina, just imagine asking a boy or girl you like but; that person that you like has a crush on a another person? You probably thinking to yourself "I probably have no chance" and "I dont want to ruin our current relationship" so I proabably hold these feeling until i die. But hina didnt want that regret, She took a stance and told taiki how she feel even though she knows that probably going to one sided. I just hate when an author of manga/webtoon/Ln decide to write 3rd wheel love interest so well, then toss at the end and pick the girl that on the main cover of series. That main cover girl usually end up with mc is usually boring or does nothing to attract the mc heart beside just being their.

IF YOU PICK CHINATSU -> you have no soul

For anyone who want to get heartbroken what these anime: (oregairu)yui yuigahama, (jakusha character tomozaki season 2)minami nanami, (Nagi asukara)chisaki hiradaira, (High score girl)koharu hidaka, (gotoubun hanayome)miku nakano, etc.

Chinatsu losing the nationals is hard enough but losing Taiki as well is the worse. I’m not sure how she’s going to recover from this. Props to Hina for choosing the perfect time to confess. even if she didn’t plan it, it shows she was prepared.

Jesus Christ man.... I don't know who I'm rooting for anymore... I love Hina, I.love Chinatsu... I love the relationship both of them have with Taiki...

Hina confessed to Taiki, he is unsure how to take this. He has always seen Hina as a friend but I think even he knows that they would be good together. However, his feelings are conflicted with his love for Chinatsu. What does he do? does he accept Hina's feelings with the knowledge that they will probably be happy together, or does he risk losing it all.. his friendship status with Hina, and his household status quo by going for his true love, Chinatsu.

My beautiful Hina and her innocent and adorable confession to Taiki. It was very beautiful and it definitely made Taiki's heart feel things. He can't comprehend things right now. On the other hand, Chinatsu's team lost and I felt bad for her as well and her Senpai who were going to leave afterward.

It becomes really hard to face someone who confessed to you like that after a single day. So, I feel Taiki. Hina's gremlin energy is so cute. And, looks like Chinatsu heard them. Oh no...

Chinatsu continues to underwhelm and so does the show. I foresaw every beat, her losing the game, the string breaking and her misunderstanding relationship of Hina and Taiki to add to the blatant emotional heart tug. Low grade soap opera. Impressive animation does not carry alone. Completely destroys anything I may have felt with Hina actually having some agency and doing something about her crush but I don't like Taiki any more than I like Chinatsu so... nothing.

I totally get why you’d feel disappointed for Chinatsu. She heard something but couldn’t take the step forward. But maybe this isn’t the end of it, and she’ll figure things out when she’s ready. It’s just part of her character to be cautious.

Chinatsu is feeling pressured over the nationals tournament. Hina scores a podium finish at the nationals which surprises Taiki.

Hina confesses her feelings for Taiki to him but acknowledges his crush on Chinatsu. Taiki finally realizes that Hina has been hinting her feelings in the past.

Taiki learns of Chinatsu's team defeat. Chinatsu overhears Hina and Taiki engage in a banter where Hina boasts about her confession.

Everything happened in this episode. Chinatsu lost. Her ankle bracelet broke. At the same time, Hina confessed her love for Taiki. Taiki now feels awkward around her. And as they were talking at the gym, Chinatsu overheard. Chinatsu must feel awful. She lost twice, Nationals and Taiki. Or at least she thinks she lost Taiki. Taiki still prefers Chinatsu, I'm sure. But now that he knows that Hina is in love with him, he doesn't know what to do.

The story advances by a huge leap here. Now that feelings are out, and people know about these feelings, this is going to become messy. Hina, Kyou, Haryu, and Karen know Taiki likes Chinatsu. Karen knows Chinatsu likes Taiki. And now Taiki and Chinatsu know Hina likes Taiki. What's going to happen now??

Man, I dunno if I can take more of this show, it's brutal. I've been in Camp Hina since the beginning and that's only ever increased, and I'm feeling a bit like being at the top of the rollercoaster with her story, about to take a big fall. Chinatsu and Taiki are both too immature, imo. Hina out here acting like an adult and clearing the air. The whole thing last episode with Haryu and Karen was all about how taking risks and saying what you feel is how you move forward, right? I hope Taiki can at least man up for once and let her down easily, but I expect he'll make a mess of that too.

I don't totally understand why Taiki's so head-over-heels for Chinatsu. She seems nice and she's cute, but he barely knows her and can't talk to her without sticking his foot in his mouth. She barely talks to him anyway. He's in love with the idea of her, not the real thing. He's one of those guys to put a girl on a pedestal and treat her like a goal instead of a person. He strikes me as very selfish. I've been rooting for Taiki to get his shit together but the more this goes on the less I think he will. He's so passive and cowardly.

For that matter, I don't really understand why Chii likes Taiki. I don't, he's a weird creep. Hina at least has some background with him and he's genuinely been friends with her, and they seem to enjoy each other's company. Taiki and Chii feel like they're just going to get together because they're hot and young and in close proximity. No chemistry at all.

I have enjoyed this show so far, mostly because the side characters and Hina are great, but Chii is kinda boring and Taiki is maybe the least charismatic human on earth. I don't know why these women are so interested in him, they both could do a lot better.
