| I was yelling at my monitor like wtf. I hated this episode. Everyone was slow af. "Oh there's monsters inside where the princess is? Cool. Let's just calmly chat here for 10 minutes and not do fuck all." "It's right above us and I could just fly up there in like under 2 seconds and end them within the next 2? Nah I'm good. How about some tea?" "It's Princess Flora being kidnapped right in front of us WITH the guy I've sworn revenge on! Let me stand here stunned with my dick in my hand for 3 minutes instead of doing something about it. Then I'll half crouch like I'm going to do something then still not do anything. I'm sure dozens of guards, Aisha, Celia, and Lise's personal attendants can't handle a few trash mobs. Yeah surely that's higher priority. Oh they're good? Oh shit where'd they go?" Someone else: "Go" "Huh? What? hurrr" I think they missed the animation here where he should be drooling with his brain completely shut off. Still stands around stunned like a total fucking moron. Walks slow as possible, stops, talking to everyone as casually as possible. Meanwhile the other people... "I need your spear." "Huh? Whaa...?" "Your spear, I need it." "Your spear Chloe, give it to her. What are you doing?" "Huuuh? Oooh..." It's like everyone's high af and at 1/1000th of the mental processing power they should be using. Maaaaaan.... |

I wouldn't even be mad if this was the season 1 of some garbage Anime but i really like season 1 so it's incredibly infuriating. Somehow, atleast every 1 in 2 episodes of anime I watch nowadays makes me incredibly mad. If I stopped watching Anime alltogether it would definitly not affect my mental health for the worse. The girls in this show are utterly useless. They have powers, but they never use them. Haruto is no better—he has power too, yet he refuses to use it. Instead, he spends his time kowtowing to random nobles. For someone who talks big about saving common people, his actions don’t match his words. This show frustrates me because it wastes the potential of its characters. We’ve spent all these episodes doing nothing but walking in circles. It’s angering to see so much potential go unused. Everything in this show feels like a giant filler episode. Action and meaningful development are few and far between, making it hard to stay engaged. |
| Aisha gets to show off some of her skill, same with Celia. I didn't have high hopes for Hiroaki but he didn't do too bad. Rio is going after Lucius to kick his ass, I'm sure he has a lot of stuff he needs to settle with the man |
| Hiroaki is kind of useless but what can we expect, he isn't overpowered like our MC is. And of course they are setting up Rio's crew to save the day. More Aishia action is always nice to see. |
| With the revenant ghouls right at Princess Flora's corner, Hiroaki better prove his standing as the Hero. In the face of Alphonse being overwhelming as a ghoul, buying Princess Flora time to escape is paramount, but having her be brought to Lucius definitely is what the enemy wanted to achieve in the first place. While the monsters on ground level have been all but cleared, the mansion itself is still a grey area being held out by strengthened revenants, as much as Hirokai being knocked down for a moment, still delivers what his reputation as a Hero does. With Reiss's presence from the top unleashing the monster ghouls, and the confirmation of the voice itself, Haruto is left with a conflict knowing that Lucius was the one who killed his mother. And now with Flora's kidnapping, Celia repays the favour, together with Aishia who can handle her own weight dealing with the strengthened revenants. The destined enemy is in his face now, and Haruto's revenge is at sight. |

| Aishia needs more screentime, really they should simplify the plot instead of making it super complicated. Like the setup for Rio vs Lucius felt like it came out of nowhere this season |
| Being an advocate of average storytelling, frankly, this story is indefensible, damn it! I don't know what kind of studio was assigned to create this season 2. I think it's the same studio, but frankly, the pace is slow, it's crazy. It's crazy to get a story off to such a good start, only to screw it up at the end. Well, we know all about Kumo desu ka nani ka xD But that's not the point! |
