Im confused on how to complete the anime reccomendation activity - Could someone help?
| @WeaponArchitect You're already signed-up for anime recommendations so for now all you have to do is confirm that you want to participate (you should have received a message from an elf about that). Around December 10th, you will receive your recipient's name and you'll be able to write your recommendation/s for them. The elf is going to send you all the instructions you need on how that works at the same time. You can also send a private message to the elf if you need any help! |

| @Dwarf-N-Dandy The Santa's Workshop is where the elves live and organize this event. Don't worry, an elf will send you the name of your recipient and where you need to send your gift around December 10th! If you already confirmed your participation, you don't have anything else to do for now |

| @Senpai_Silver Well, there are three different events you can sign-up for: Event #1: Personalized Anime Recommendations Event #2: Personalized Manga Recommendations Request an anime/manga rec (based on certain criteria) and gift a personalized rec to another user! Event #3: Personalized MAL Images Request a custom-made/shopped image to use on MAL (profile picture, forum signature, etc.) and gift a personalized MAL image to another user! You're free to sign-up for more than one, but please keep in mind that it'll take a lot more time. The sign-ups for the events are here: #1: Anime Recommendations #2: Manga Recommendations #3: Images Please read the first post in those threads very carefully, everything you need to sign-up is there! There's only a few hours left before the sign-ups close so you might need to hurry up a little. |

How the event works is explained in more details in the first post of this thread. As the name says, it's like a regular secret santa event where you would get a random name and offer that person a gift and receive one in exchange from another random person. MAL just has its own spin to it, but it's more or less the same. The explanations on the sign-up threads are a bit more limited to how to sign-up, but you should find everything you need in the first post of this thread. Ok yes i am confused. I made my post with the request template for an anime. Does this mean i am signed up to gift and recieve? I see it says that you will be removed if you don't confirm the PM sent on Nov 29. I don't have any such PM (i assume because i didn't sign up until today.) Does this mean i am out of luck this year? 🥺🥺🥺
| @Filthy0120 Don't worry, the confirmation messages are sent in waves. Since you signed up not too long ago, the elves haven't sent yours yet, but you should be getting it soon. The confirmation deadline is tomorrow night (PST timezone usually) and the elves make sure the last people that signed-up get enough time to confirm. |
