| The direction of the episode is seriously masterful and phenomenal, I thought i wouldn't shed a tear just like when i read this chapter... but this adaptation prove me wrong. Well done, Science Saru. |

| i was expecting something good, since the story itself was pretty emotional in the manga as well, but boy i was blown away on how science saru adapted it, the storyboard and direction was peak, imo you dont see this type of direction in battle shounen anime. |
| Unexpected feels hit the hardest. I could complain about tonal whiplash, but that was just really beautiful. It feels like it suddenly turned into a theatrical movie mid-way through the episode. Shockingly-good directing, animation, music all around. |
| Perfect adaptation. The rooftop ballet was my most anticipated scene of this first season and they nailed everything about the flashback. This is going to be the most emotional flashback in the series for a while. I can't wait for 'Brella Boy in a few years. |

| This is one of the best single episodes of anime I have ever seen., certainly one of the best this year. I was already enjoying the series, but this episode was just on a different level. The action, humor, etc. were already on par with the rest of the series so far, but once it hit the back story, it was just so cinematic. Just incredible. I really cannot say I was prepared in any way to be moved quite like that. |
| This episode will tug at your heartstrings. While Dandadan has a comedic touch, it gets serious when it comes to understanding the depth of each character's events and experiences. I didn't expect the story of the Silk Acrobat to be so intense. The artistic level of the episode, especially with the music, was incredible. The perspective of the Silk Acrobat chasing her daughter was pure cinema. Thanks to Aira, the Silk Acrobat could rest in peace, but I'm still sad about not knowing what happened to her daughter. At least her memory will live on forever in Aira. |

| Jesus, that glass tearing into the skin was fucking brutal!! Also for the manga readers are there any males figure heads in the story? Looking at it now the whole cast is pretty much female. Plus it seems there is a motif centered around protecting women. (I.e turbo granny and now ballerina mom.) |
