| Exactly ten years ago today i went to my third concert by Caparezza, the only italian singer i actually listen to. Went with three McDonald's coworkers and a friend of one, a beautiful girl that was also close to one of my best friends because they both were karate students at the same dojo, and this detail made me think she was even more attractive. Obviously, after that concert, i never had the courage to try to contact her and trying to socialize (friendzone would have been fine), even if she never seemed hostile against me like i expected by default. | In the first half of June, four days after my basketball team won a final "deathmatch" on the road and returned to a higher tier of italian minor leagues, i went to the usual all-sports valley fest set in a park in my little town for more celebrations with other people from the same club... By coincidence, that's also when i saw my biggest crush for the last time as of 2024. She was more or less the star student of the local karate dojo and once again she led her group performing katas. Unfortunately, unlike 2009 and 2010, this time three other girls that performed as a team weren't there, but as much as they also all seemed so strong and attractive in their acts, she was my favorite. She also passed in front of me at the end of the demonstration but obviously i couldn't say a word, too shy, considering myself not worthy etc. etc. ... Now i know she works as a co-sensei at the same dojo and somehow because of acquaintances meeting her isn't even impossible, friendzone would be 1000% ok, but not sure if i can go through asking this person met in common even if she is a regular customer of the restaurant i work for. 2024 |

| midway through October, i drew a coworker from my final year in service at McDonald's in anime style as a gift for her birthday, and because she was on holidays during the exact date i asked my manager to insert it in her locker. One week later, she returned, was surprised by what happened and asked other coworkers who did it, and when i came out and confessed she thanked me and kissed me on the cheek. Considering how beautiful she was, it still seems insane re-thinking about it. sq |

| Had by a long shot the best summer holidays as a kid (9 years old back then), going to a italian seaside little city called Lido Di Savio, full of arcades, theme parks, and go-kart tracks, driving pedal cars, great music on the radios everywhere. Not only i was allowed to bring my Game Gear with Sonic Chaos and Mortal Kombat II, i also discovered the newer version of Street Fighter 2 that added new characters never seen before as Deejay, Feilong, Cammy, Hawk... | Midway through December, me and my fellow firm members had to miss our only match on the road of our basketball team 2009-2010 season because of heavy snowing, to a point the match itself was at risk of being postponed (it wasn't). We just took a picture with the firm banner outside of our home games court, went to a pub for some drinks and that's how that evening ended. | discovered Netlog as a social media in summer, it was fun for some months and had a cool perfectly working search engine... but as usual with those kind of platforms it turned out to be useless for someone like me. Managed to see my friends request accepted (in hindsight, i'm surprised i actually sent them for real to begin with) by some girls that i was attracted to, were karate students, had some interest in anime and lived nearby, but obviously i couldn't by any means find the courage to actually try and talk to them properly, or set up real life meetings even if i could have had support by some friends in common. 2009 |

| Could have died (or at least was very afraid of) in a car crash, midway through this same month, during a rainy afternoon. During a round downhill road, even if i was riding slow, the wheel suddenly froze and the car went almost to bump into the guard rail while all i could think about was pushing the brakes in terror. Nothing happened, but i was so paralyzed with fear i can't remember how i managed to complete the remaining 20 minutes separating me from home, because it was almost like i forgot how to drive, change shifts... 2012 |

| the same all-sports valley fest (existed from 2009 to 2013) i referenced multiple times before in this thread was organized for the final time (in reality it should have started in 2008 but was probably cancelled for rain and it's likely the same reason why it wasn't made in 2012 too), so it was the last chance for me to greet my fellow basketball team staff members for the 2012-2013 season and, at the same time, watching in admiration / bliss the local dojo's girls kata performances one more time to end the entire event, even if this time there were neither my biggest crush from 2009-2011 nor the other ladies i remembered. 2007 |
