| Don’t know why I waited till almost all the episode were out but I’ve seen so much edits and post on this i just had break my edging streak with this and watch it before the last episode airs💀💀 I loved how the beginning was such a dramatic trope-y moment I was like “this is so dramatic” while watching it that shit was so funny to me and Anna drinking out of bros straw was SUCH a down bad moment for our FMC like get a grip girly🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 A-1 studio is kicking this shit out the park ong the animation is just fucking GORGEOUS and beautiful asf holy shit that scene where the MC walked up the stairs was so fucking breathtaking to me man and especially the part where Anna’s hair was blowing in the wind that shit was eye candy to me🤩😩😩😩🔥🔥🔥🔥 Gonna binge watch this shit fasho idk why I didn’t keep up with it weekly but hey at least the edits I saw and tweets I saw made me feel like I was watching it weekly haha😅 Lastly just wanna say Kaju IS SOOOOOO ADORABLE AND CUTE I love her so much man I wish she was real😫😫😫😫🥹   |

| Here's your 2023/2024 Anime Slop, open your mouth and say Aaah! Make Heroine ga Oosiguri, 1st Episode Impressions Not an awful entry, but the pacing never allowed a slowing down, a zooming in, a phase of rest for an intimate getting-to-know; the entire episode rushed by like a trailer, leaving you with the feeling and question: when does the actual thing start? Aside from that the reliance on recent archetypes is a bit excessive to the point of detracting from what it tries to show; the humor heavily relies on it, being pushed forward in the hopes of making the audience forget the lack of reasons for investment. A first episode so attuned to recent anime developments, in its excellent mimicry and execution it manages to feel perfectly average, faceless, and without identity. To the average anime viewer in 2024 this will warrant good reviews and heaps of praise. Let the slop hit the floor. Let the slop hit the floor. |
| too tired and unmotivated now to make my usual introduction before commenting a pilot episode and how i discovered the series. So... main girl has such wild mood swings. Asking myself if the male lead will become or do someone remarkable, that choice to pay him back in bentos seem... hit or miss. The opening monologue managed to hit the spot, some people never had a chance to begin with even at that age no matter how that supposed 70% chance of breaking up soon is working or not... i talk by experience, so many never even came remotely close. i wasn't paying attention so i didn't immediately recognized Minami Tanaka and Sumire Uesaka, but what i noticed instead was how much the ED for music and visuals seems a KareKano-esque one. |

| Starting off this series very strong with Nukumizu's talk about teenage romance, and then it cutting to yanami's argument, and then her goes over to nukumizu and running up the bill and her paying him back into bento boxes. And she knew what she was doing when she said "is there any other way i can pay you?" and we also met lemon in this episode. |
