First you complain about how mappa's animator have an overload of work and then when a studio need more time and instead of not releasing an episode drop a recap y'all complain about it. I also don't like recaps, but they are humans and they need their time to work.
| @brash10 That's right, break-weaks are necessary for studios, and the other option would be just releasing [nothing]. And if it is an anime that occupies a fixed spot on open or cable TV (?), it is even more necessary. |

| I dont fucking know what this new fucking trend of doing a recap of a fucking 6 ep I mean what are you going to remind me about the time that he almost shit his pants or the time he jerked off so hard he almost died. I dont see a reason to take a brake is it because of the animation that made the manhwa look good or the music that makes my ears suffer every time i hear it |

| "Jinwoo recaps the events of the story so far, from his humble beginnings as the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind to his newfound power and renewed purpose" And we got the infamous recap episode, seems this anime is checking all points of trying their lowest and breaking expectations I didn't even thought i would have. I saw there's still no thread for this episode so here we go, as you probably guessed from title, synopsis or my quirky comment above, this episode is just a series of flashbacks and recalls from previous episodes, the plot doesn't really progress and the episode seems pretty (totally, 100%) skippable. In my opinion, they picked the worst moment possible to take a break, previous episode was the one that fairly should've build the most hype so far, and they slaughtered that hype with this break, but i guess it is what it is. Personally i would've prefered if they just didnt aired anything and announce a week before they're behind the scheldue or something than doing a recap right now.. Tho what were your thoughts about this episode? |

| The thing about recaps are that they are NEVER EVER used when they need to be... A second season airing years after the first season? Or even months later for that matter really, No recap of anything anywhere, ah but 7episodes into an anime? RECAP IT UP. Not that Solo Leveling is doing a recap episode for any other reason but that they are taking a week break. |

| I am never a fan of recap episodes. There is no real way to do them "correctly" Outside of just not creating them at all. |
