This season was amazing! Out of this world but I have to say Sukuna is childish. Dude being over a thousand plus years when he comes out, can't help but make a mess of things. I still like him even if that's the case. Can't wait for the next season!😁

It was the worst season finale in the history of anime. Wasted half time sight-seeing Shibuya which was unnecessary. I mean, I get it, they need to show what was going around, but half the runtime was just idiocy in my opinion. I haven't read the manga but I'm sure there were other important things that could've been there in this episode instead of useless news clippings.

I am not sure I understand where the story is going anymore. Nearly half of the season is wasted in fights, but it ends with Yuta finally deciding to show up, Gojo being accused of complicity in the Shibuya accident, the order to execute a few sorcerers including the vessel of Sukuna, Yuji, and the unleashing of millions of cursed spirits.

Comparing the animation to the previous season would be an insult to the previous season. The last few episodes specifically were a clusterfuck of terrible direction.

Really underwhelming season. I can't even describe how I feel about the development. The power system is still shit. Everything and anything is possible.
I sometimes forget to finish my sentences.

It has been an entertaining couple of months watching JJK, Anime onlies are about to be blown away in the next arc. Yuta has been my favourite character and I cannot wait to see it animated!
If not for the few problems in the middle episodes, This season would have been a 10/10.
See yall in a few years when Culling games arc gets animated!

Absolute fire season and great episode to wrap season 2 up in and set up for possible season 3.

First half was great, they really managed to solidify how massive of an impact the events at Shibuya were for practically the entire world by showing the reactions of both humans and Jujutsu sorcerers. All eyes are gonna be on Japan with the economics and the inexplicable events it's actually crazy how, understandably, the government can't find a good cover up and might just publicly announce the existence of curses and curse energy which would actually flip the world on its head. I'm really interested to know next season if they do, i feel like they're kinda at a point where they have no choice, but it'll be interesting to see how the government interacts with the Jujutsu council, and make for some cool spin offs to watch how Jujutsu sorcerers in other countries fair. Likewise we see the Jujutsu council thrown into a state of panic trying to contain all the new curses but probably also prepare themselves for the possible reveal of it all.

Ngl a lot of what kenjaku said at the start was confusing, what i took away was his belief that humanity should have / optimize cursed energy and him using Mahito's Idle transfiguration to destroy some barriers, then activated some spell that enhances certain humans with already high affinity with curse energy just not having the brain to fully utilise it , to become something like Itadori? Essentially making both sorcerers and these new awakened sorcerers equal in numbers to fight to push the awareness and need of cursed energy. He also revealed he made a pact with dozens of curses / cursed objects and i guess with the barriers gone, unleashed those curses and 10million other curses into Japan starting the "World of Heian, the golden age of Jujutsu" which ngl is hardcore af and very much world changing.

Second half was crazy, you get to see the immediate effects of the millions of released curses and how they easily start tearing through the public and how even without the government announcing curses existences, their presence is already rapidly spreading.
Seems the spotlight might shift back to Yuuta which i'm really looking forward to, i enjoyed his story a lot in the movie and excited to see what he does since he got bumped to Special Grade.
The ending sequences with the sentences laid out by the Jujutsu council was also fucking crazy and world changing, interesting how they still label Getou as the perpetrator, but deeming Gojou as an accomplice and anyone attempting to free him deemed a criminal is insane, Yaga's punishment actually made me gasp that shit feels way to extreme and Itadori's death sentence being unfrozen and Yuuta being his executioner i kinda expected. Whelp looks like were gonna see Itadori and the crew go on their rouge phase dodging the council and such.

Season 2 itself was fucking amazing, blew my mind with the animation and action, the plot was really interesting and was really such a fun watch that i enjoyed the shit out of, I absolutely loved Touji's story in the plot the most, probably one of my favourite characters in the franchise.

Still it all came at the expense of the wellbeing of hundreds of MAPPA workers which was really sad to hear about. I'm really thankful season 2 is doing so well, but the reality is pretty depressing hearing about the work environment occurring to make the show.

All in all, i enjoyed the shit out of this season and they did a really good job paving the plot for future seasons.

Tbh this left a lot to desire, there was so much death and not enough time to mourn the dead or even feel sad lol I feel like we speed ran through this. Just as this was going to get interesting, the season ends. Ugh why did they do this? This season was just too messy and I'm left confused. It felt extremely rushed and all the deaths were almost pointless. Why is unsealing Gojo a crime? Isn't he the only person that can save the world?
As a wise man once said, "No one hates anime more than anime fans"

This entire season has been very disappointing. The storyline is way too rushed and missed out so many important details. So many times it feels like the animation just jump from one scene to another scene, with the very awkward music cutoff. And all these surrounding the whole drama with the animation studio. With the extremely awkward wrap up of season 2 that nothing makes much sense in this whole season. All these out of nowhere the entire japan authority suddenly cares about their country is in a state of emergency. Like wtf? How does the government "just realizes" they are in danger after the entire season? And after all that realization, the best they could have done is brand those very people who try to save the country, "criminals". Very well done.

And what exactly is this tengen dude's role? He basically just chills in his own little space and does absolutely nothing to save anyone, like what the heck? Then out of nowhere he is all on this killing spree of itadori, like tengen is actually going to do anything to "save humans", for once. At the end he still relies on other sorceress to finish the job for him while he chills in his own little world. His barrier is trash in the first place, and that is the reason why evil spirits are able to roam around freely. His half baked barrier is the exact reason why so many sorcerers went out to fight and died, all because he couldn't even do ONE job correctly.

And why is that yuta dude so against itadori in the first place? So basically, the tengen dude and the entire sorcery society failed to kill geto, and now they are blaming on itadori for the cause of everything? We are left with the false impression that gojo is going to either break the seal himself, or be rescued. Instead, neither of those happened. And nothing gets resolved, just this ken dude being an absolute degen achieving his own scheme for his selfish reasons.

I just want to say, this whole season 2 plot is garbage.

I felt the last episode was not good at all! It was very rushed, and the MAPPA animator's strike effect impacted the episode's quality to extreme detriment. I want this episode to be redirected and remade into like many 2-4 episode arcs! It felt like it did a great injustice to the whole banger of a season!

Seems like Manga readers enjoyed the episode. It was very bad IMO from only-anime viewer perspective. The direction & animation was more like Sonny Boy than Jujutsu Kaisen. I just wish Mappa did not rush things and paid animators & directors with enough time & money.

They really dropped the ball on yutas voice ngl. Yuki kaji would've been so much better.

That aside, the ep itself was kinda odd. But I guess they just had to wrap it up for season 3. MAPPA carrying as always. It's amazing how well they produce anime.

This season was just perfect, everything from animation to the story was on point.

Best anime of this year actually for me. Just a little issue though, that is the working condition of the animators if they had been given enough time we would have seen something on another level. Although the current product is also excellent.

They really wanted Gojo to be out of Jujutsu Society that they declared him as an accomplice in the Shibuya incident. Yuta is also going to attempt to kill Yuji. Let's see who will come out on top.

10/10 for this season.

Not a manga reader but my guess is that Geto (guy in Geto) wants to bring Sukuna back and make a world where everybody is brutal crazy strong because... reasons.

*Yuta returns*

Let's go!!!!!!

Yuta: I will kill Yuji Itadori myself.

No, Yuuta, no.

Also, it seems that Rika is still around somehow.

Dang, I didn't expect things to end so inconclusively... and so badly. Everything has gone to shit and the higher ups are taking advantage of it. Deaths on both sides, total devastation, Gojou still sealed and the jujutsu world going public. What a total turnaround for what we had seen so far, the episode really left me with an eerie and creepy feeling.

Regarding the deaths, I don't know, it already feels weird that they got rid of the important curses from the first season in one arc but there were also casualties among the good guys. This doesn't mean it has to be bad, but I feel like they could have done more with Nanami or Nobara... although with her I still have faith that she's alive.

Anyway, that's all for this season. I still remember how amazed I was with the first episode, Utahime exploring that haunted house looked so good with that distinct animation/direction... I loved it. And how devastated I was with the conclusion of the first arc. Then the next arc, Shibuya Incident, was so overhyped and yes, it was great and had some pretty awesome moments but I feel like it lacked something, not to mention the thing with the animators and how even better it could have looked.

It's been an awesome six months with this show around so I'm definitely going to miss it. The good thing is that we don't have to worry waiting for a sequel... Looking forward to it!

I really like the characters, but the fight scenes running pretty much consecutively for like 6 episodes were stretching my tolerance for action too thin

Will probably try again if we get another season or a movie. but this arc was just too much for me

With this, the second season has come to an end~

For me, this second season was very enjoyable, putting aside the many spoilers all over social media, there were several things that were surprising (to me) in this season. Nanami's death (like, why Nanami?), Nobara's death (again, why Nobara?), Choso being Yuuji's half-brother (haaah?!), Mahito's death (which was VERY unsatisfying), but it was nice to see that the last person to crush Mahito before his death was Yuuji :) and of course, what I've been waiting for since the beginning, Yuuta!!!

Aaaahh. I can't wait for the third season. I hope the MAPPA workers can rest after this, but on the other hand I also want to watch the third season as soon as possible.......
