Gege Akutami is NOT afraid to fuck shit up! He created this whole world for his story then totally bulldozered right over it!

Things will never be the same in Japan after the Shibuya Incident… except for the Jujutsu HQ’s greed and need for control apparently!
Cant believe this whole thing has happened and they’re still only concerned with controlling the narrative!

Okkotsu has returned and I can’t wait to see more of him! The Culling Game arc is going to be amazing!

I honestly enjoyed this season. Solid timekiller.

Not really a finale was it? Half the episode was an expo dump with slides and the whole thing felt rushed. The to be continued card was on screen for like 0.2 seconds long.

Can't say Jujutsu Kaisen is my taste, but man the animators were doing a fantastic job despite their working conditions, hard carried the show for me.

Gojo's Backstory had to be the highlight for me still in season 2, can't say I'm happy with how things are not left to settle with specific moments or the deaths, the ending was pretty okay.

I love when subjects branch out like this. Its realistic. Something like cursed spirits existing would affect everything. It would be like someone only knowing chemistry and not knowing anything about psychology or politics. You would just create someone who is useless as a overall citizen but great at their one thing, only when it only affects itself. Which majority of the time It won't. Its totally true that some people would only look at the economic impacts of a disaster and ignore everything else. Which would just reduce how big of a threat this shit is. Those people will die off first, which would start a new era.

I like a lot from this season but this was definitely one of my favorite scenes. I like seeing a bit more realism and stakes being so much more. I bet the direction of the show is going to get super primal and savage now. Don't like the method but I really wanna see the results if it last long enough to create them.

the ending episode is in my opinion the most important episode of the season. Im a little disapointed with this one, first of i didnt get anything of what geto was yaping about, we didnt see that blondes ability which I thought we would see due to the cliffhanger of the previous ep. There was some set up for the next season which i liked but this ending is rather unsatysfing imo.

what the hell is going on, executioner sentenced to death for incitement, how is he alive? it really left me speechless. The phase with [spoiler] Itadori and the clapping when I saw it in the manga (video on tiktok) I said that he should also receive a domain and that's how he activates it[/tag] Honestly, Yuto's entry it was kind of meh but glad he's back in action and wasn't left out

I am not a big fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, season 1 has some highlights but i find it sluggish to get through, and the story was boring. I was cautiously optimistic about season 2, considering how much hype was around the shibuya arc, so I was curious to see if things improve.

I can confidently say no, if anything I enjoyed it even less. The direction was bland, the characters were even less interesting, and the pacing was worse somehow, I couldn't even compliment the action, it's technically well done, but it feels so empty and soulless, my sympathy goes to MAPPA's animators for all the hell they went through to make this show, but a crappy script and direction can only get you so far.

It's frustrating trying to sit through this show, hoping something will have some weight or substance to it, but it's all drivel explaining everything in granular detail, because who needs to show things in a visual medium, or better yet, interrupt the action to explain things at the same time. Unless all you're interested in is just pretty animation and action, I wouldn't recommend this to most.

Say what, what kind of ending is this :O Hmm, actually I am very happy I was watching this anime week by week. I was aaawesome, and i could feel there was different staff working on different episodes (not only sad "Mappa incident", but just guest director thing etc.). But I think that since most of this season were ONLY battles throughot the whole episode (great battles, btw), it might become too boring to watch it all at once? But just my opinion. Hype for Yuji and Sukuna. : ) Each of them separately, ofc.

And, maybe funny, or just seiyuu coincidence, but if you want to hear SINGING Sukuna, you can check out songs from the band BURAIKAN (not real band, but from ParaAni project. Rapping Sukuna rocks!)

And just some random screenshots :)

I was anticipating a crazy grand finale but we got something different. More talking and revelations from “Geto.”

Best boy Yuta is back and better than ever! And he’s working with HQ to….execute our MC?! Woah woah woah.

Those 5 rules are wild and prove how corrupt the higher ups are. Geto is deserved in the death sentence, but to throw Gojo and their instructor under the bus like that is crazy.

I can’t wait for the next season!

The top brass of the jujutsu society's idiocy knows no bounds, truly retarded. Will Gojo get released any time soon or will Yuji have to survival for some time?

That music playing at the background of Geto's spiel kinda reminded me of Ghibli? It was poetic until it was a bit out of place? But I think Geto's point came across well. Also, I can't discern whether the unnerving calm among the different bureaus, while discussing different plans of action after shibuya, was intentional or not. I think showing frenzied officials and out of touch civilians would make a good contrast. But maybe it was a point they wanted to make about government officials.

I like how they ended the season, though.

Even with its issues, I enjoyed this season. It was inferior to the first one, the difficulties Mappa created and faced are apparent and I hope they will fix what's broken, otherwise next season will be a pile of shit. But I will miss seeing Jujutsu in my weekly anime rota.

Damn. I miss Nanami.

I kinda hated it. Lol

Very anti-climatic, story was yada-yada'd to set up S3.

Boiler plate, villain who wants chaos (boring) -- 80% of the episode was faceless government officials and civilians talking.

It would've worked better for me If this episode was HQ talking about the Shibuya Incident, who they're going to blame, their plans going forward.

Happy to see Yuta again, very interested and excited about S3 still but this episode, sucked. IMO

AWESOME season, Shibuya arc especially!

Fights were really well done but some were too short for me (that's coming from former naruto head haha). I love the philosophical questions different characters bring to the table, and how those ideas will clash in the next arc makes me curious..

wild Yuta finally appears lol! They are foreshadowing Yuta - Itadori fight? And what's with that contract Sukuna made with Yuji in season 1? We STILL don't know, and I bet that will help Sukuna in the culling games?

It's been long since I've seen shonen series equally focused on philosophy, foreshadowing/mind games and pure action! Can't wait for the Culling Games (probably out Winter 2025??) and the rest of the story!

9.5 / 10 in my books 😁🫵🔥🔥🔥

This season really is dedicated to all those idiots who said the first one was mid.

Not only were we the witnesses of some spectacular animation which comprised the best battles in the whole year considering some great contenders, we also got to see our bright cast of characters being slowly but surely wiped off by an arc that left the world completely upside down. So long are those goofy moments between pals, we got to see treason, alliances, sacrifices, revenges and a whole lot of loss.

It's kind of hard picking a best moment since it will all depend on which character or turn of events you liked the most. For me it has to go to the battle between Sukuna and Togo, particularly the way the former was basically lava surfing the latter's attacks. Other highlights include Toji's finger blasting debri against rabbits, Gojo's super fast attack, Yuji's many black flashes and Nanami's punch against the pony tail dude.

Yes, all of these are fights but the series gives them more meaning than A vs B punching each other. Each blow has purpose, has something behind it and we can marvel at the results. Of course, we can't ignore how there's sometimes the shonen capability of a fighter to keep going when they probably shouldn't, but this one doesn't happen as often as one might guess. Now with the grim finale and the set up for the next season my only hope is that MAPPA doesn't treat their stuff like cursed spirits.

shibuya almost lives up to its extreme hype in the anime thanks to mappa's efforts. well directed and maybe this season could've even looked as good as chainsaw man had the episodes been completed but alas. they still went crazy with the time they had but i do feel bad for them especially considering the next season has already been announced. culling games was ass in the manga but i hope mappa cooks on that as well. this season had a few boring fights but some were insane, the boring narration and also that ghosting and dimming ruined it but i still prefer this to s1, 8/10.

historical season, what a great shonen jjk is, action, story, characters, everything is of a high level, from the 1st chapter to the last, the story has not stopped improving, the animation stumbled very rarely, but it makes up for it with the good quality content in history, PEAK SEASON, 10/10
