I was worried that Tzveta's backstory would overstay its welcome, so this episode felt like a breath of fresh air. I'm not insensitive, but it takes more than a sappy backstory and daddy issues to make a character likeable.

The problem with inserting a flashback into a story while in the middle of a climactic fight is that it disrupts the narrative's flow. Also, how did Shy watch Tzveta's memories? Did she broadcast them through her ice shards or something?

Anyway, I'm glad that Shy became the main character of her show again. Don't get me wrong, I like that Spirits is getting some much-needed growth, but sooner or later, Shy needs to be involved into the story, lest she will come off as an accessory.

Pepesha's mother had it rough, but she never realized how much her own daughter loved and needed her. Now, Pepesha is going to tell her.

Tzveta really couldn't catch a break with that tragic backstory. I'm just glad Pepesha has a chance to talk to her now.

Kufufu is growing on me. I thought she is the most annoying character in anime history, but during the fight she is getting more and more funny.

Make me remember something i cherish.... of what they've been through just to raise us. This is good adaptation, VA performance is so great on this episode
