Ok, I am usually very lenient when it comes to CGI, but this is the worst dragon since season 1 of Arifureta. Truly abysmal.

| Feels like they're trying a similar approach like slime isekai when it comes to nation/village building. But while it works for slime, here it's just kinda boring. And now we have sudden drama with the new dragon, which also kinda came out of nowhere. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| I kind of thought that Dragon was going to be a part of Ren's party, up until the end of this episode, now for that to happen, a lot would likely need to happen. It just feels less likely with how Shield Hero at this point is written. Oh well. |
| I think we're onto one of the silliest oddities we've done in this history. It's really the forcing scenario. Just as he enters the room and not even a few seconds later, Gaélion, who has never done anything stupid like eat anything, eats anything. It really feels forced and like they had no idea how to bring us back to this situation. On the other hand, this part, I get the impression that he's after our souls  |

| So, they had time to make a stable of monster caterpillars (never mentioned before?), plant giant trees, train children, raise a dragon but still seems to be unable to repair their freaking roofs? Also Naofumi is count but seems to have only this one village? That's a Barony at best. Shield hero crew growing is nice and fun, even Kirito hangs out around but Spear lolicon nowhere to be seen? (Probably not allowed on the ground to protect Filo, lol). But seriously, even princess and heir of kingdom is there all the time, help them fix their freaking roofs, Queen. Yeah and little tigress seems to be sneaking into Naofumi's bed, shouldn't be his wife Raphtalia, didn't they kiss or something at end of season 1? Since then we do nothing with that? |

| Oh, the CGI Dragon looks really bad... Well, not surprised though. It's sad that they introduced the Dragon this episode, and it seems we're getting close for them to have to kill him. Also, is Wyndia going to be a relevant from now on? They are giving a lot of attention to her. And what's her beef with the Sword Hero? She didn't go eating when he was the one serving the food, and didn't want him to take care of the Dragon Egg. We get to know yet another new character, Rat, that is a kind of a biologist of that world. It seems she's going to be quite useful for Naofumi's kingdom. But it's kinda weird how it was Sadeena the one that warned about the Dragon ingesting that gem, instead of Rat, since she should be the expert at that. 1 episode in, and she is already failing. It's cute to see Ren having a redemption arc, and trying hard to get stronger and getting more involved with the people of the world, instead of treating it like it is the videogame he played when he was alive. Either way, it's funny, since he was able to read the letter from Malty just some time ago, but fine. And I feel like they cut something in between last episode and this one, since the Spear Hero just disappeared. It seems that Eclair and Ren have some romance going on, which would be cute, if they had introduced their relationship properly in the anime. I know they met during season 2 in the light novel, but in the anime that never happened, so their "relationship" just seems random. Curious to see how this Dragon thing will be worked out though. Edit: Also, it seems the mother of the tiger siblings was indeed human, to they really might be the prior King's grandsons or something. Atla has also a crush on Naofumi, to the point of getting in his bed at night. Raphtalia isn't liking this... And Fohl needs to do a beter job at looking out for his sister, she's dangerous. |

The adaptation is still bad as always...
They never showed how or why there are monsters living in Naofumi's village. Or Filo using her powers to influence the eggs so they'll never hatch a filolial, only monsters.
Wyndia is in every episode as a background character, but they never bothered to build her up or show that she hates Ren. The whole Valley Girl scene is missing.
Previously they also didn't build up Eclair, now the fact that she's flirting with Ren feels like it came out of nowhere. The same thing is going to happen with Wyndia...
Keel being a girl should have been revealed 6 episodes ago. The studio totally forgot...
Not just the CGI Gaelion was bad. The studio is also saving budget by not aging up the kids as they level up.
They're also keeping the houses damaged to save budget instead of showing repairs and new ones being built in the past month.

| A total side-quest episode, with random stuff popping out of nowhere. Like that dragon egg just chilling in a crate and suddenly showing up. The random circumstances in this episode are just wild... |
