| Ohh, after all that praise to episode 3, episode 4 just decided to slap me in the face. Like, what just happened? Why are they making Motoyasu obsessed with Filo, who has an appearance of a child, which just makes all of this even creppier. Is he just going to be here for a "comedic"sideline that is clearly not doing its job? And the reasons his companions left him were completely stupid, like "oh no, he can't defeat this big turtoise that is supposed to be a very strong enemy, I guess I'll just have to leave the group, because he clearly didn't have other questionable actions before". Somehow Motoyasu's team was able to just get to the turtoise, ridicule him, and get back unscratched, but Ren's teammates all died by the same enemy. Like, ok I guess. Oh, and of course Malty is back, spreading lies again, we're in for round 2 I suppose. Not really a fan of them trying to do what happened in season 1, but now with the Sword Hero. I kind of get why Ren would buy Malty's speech, still, it's so obvious she's lying, that you can't ignore how naive Ren is. Like, this part of the story had a lot of potential, since the other 3 heroes barely had an impact for the story, and it was especially important to start making the 3 heroes at least a bit different from each other. But instead we got this. I'm even afraid of what's going to happen with the Bow Hero... |
