| loved the first episode. akira seems like he's going to be a very enjoyable mc, which is definitely something to look forward to. i really liked the color switches. the subtle switch of colors when he sees the first zombie, and then the big switch of colors when he realizes he doesn't have to go to work anymore. it really helped to visualize just how excited he was about not having to be stuck in an office literally all day every day. i also enjoy the art style. idk what it is, but something about the art style and animation is just very pleasing to me. it scratches an itch in my brain i didn't know i had. overall seems like a very promising show and im excited to watch akira slowly complete his bucket list and live out an enjoyable life. even if it's in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. |

| The eye transition was amazing and the voice cutting out really emphazised the moment. Great episode composition. It felt foggy, thick and distorted and I absolutely love and hate it at the same time. But then on the roof when everything went silent and he vanishes, that shit got me excited!. |
| Well, the first ep hit like a truck. Pretty depresive truck. First that workplace, then Otori. I'm sticking with this anime, because we don't have horror comedies much often, especially zombie ones. |

| good animation quality original sebio play with blood and colors so that everything doesn't look all red. With the plot it is another criticism of forced labor in Japan combining it with zombie where the protagonist is released in the zombie apocalypse and can now enjoy his life finishing his list 100 things before dying which reminds me a lot of the live action series 100 Things to Do Before High School or My Name Is Earl now this plot point for me has 2 ways 1- the protagonist is making his list and along the way he is making friends with different personal problems reaching a point where they solve their problems and some are dying and others live or all live or all die in the end finishing the list without solving the problem zombie plot point one was to save the world but to survive 2- The protagonist is making his list and along the way he makes friends with different personal problems arriving at a place where the protagonist meets someone who wants to find the cure and he joins because thanks to his friends he learns a better life and in the end end the list with following the cure some live some die |

| The animation is great. Loved the use of colors in the end. Even though my guy is a rugby player, that jump from the top of a building was too much lol.. my man was so happy that he ignored basic laws of physics. Although I believe MC has 6 pack abs under those office clothes. |

| Wow, that was easily the best visual direction I've seen this season, even more so than the current Bleach. How they made such a bog standard setting like a zombie outbreak, feel so damn fresh, very impressive. |

| Mind blowing first episode! They managed to make a zombie apocalypse look like an escape from reality instead of the end of everything you know and love. It’s especially genius how they directed this entire episode, the moment he realized he had to do an all-nighter first day the colors of the anime dimmed down more and more and they only start to come back as we see the very first zombie, then if fully comes back when he sees the CHAOS that is outside. |
