Heck of an episode, I was also on the edge of my seat thinking how screwed Raelza was against that high level demon but both Saitou and especially Morlock came in the clutch. They all did work great together as a team though with Raelza and Saitou saving each other's lives, Saitou putting Morlock's corpse next to the dog, and Morlock resurrecting himself.
A couple of big questions are how the heck/why did Morlock get dog (or is it cat?) ears and do Raelza and Saitou tie the knot? (I still wonder if Raelza is Morlock's biological daughter although I don't know if that will be revisited).
Raelza is so refreshing as a character. She’s not immortal or gifted with exceptional ability. She’s just a battle hardened warrior who is always prepared to fight for her friends and loved ones to the death. She also has such a big heart, and isn’t trying to be stoic or indifferent to things around her. She has a lot of masculine traits but doesn’t forgo her feminity…gosh, I have been loving the heck out of this show this season. Great episode, funny ending, exceptional series.
After bringing us at the verge of despair this anime offered something what many more famous titles failed to do. AN ABSOLUTE WIN.
In those two (two and a half?) episodes we recived plot and emotions we got something that other anime takes months. And everything clicked perfectly.
Lafan top tier sidekick.
Morlock top tier dad, top tier comeback, top tier badass 'entrance'
Saitou best case of weak body but strong head.
And, finally, cherry on the cake - Raelza, a top tier strong female character, a trully triple S platinium quality waifu! <3
This show continues to be amazing. When Morlock came back, it was so freaking epic. And that spell is so badass. Saitou is not useless at all. Who the hell charges an actual demon from hell using clippers? A chad!
The culmination of a few episodes and the payoff was better then expected. Gramps secured himself as best character but it wasn't as runaway as I thought in the beginning. The way they tied in the last few episodes just felt right and the action was solid.
Lol ofc theres another part of the demon's arm creature. Look at that pose of them, creepy shit. Their master surely an embodiment of the nasty shit. Took the body as an easy ride to reach the surface land...
While Raelza had her badass momentum. But man, Morlock proves himself worthy to the great mage title. Is he already able to cast faster spell by not forgetting the incantation? Handyman also doing the best approach by reaching Morlock first to touch the pup and the hellhound corpse and save Raelza ass from the frozen jail later just in time!
At last, an unexpected entertaining episode with that twist direction and action-packed narratives. This could sit well on my top list of this season...
Hide and seek is the best offline games on this fatamorgana-called-world-thing. Please comment nicely. I am newbie here.
Such an awesome episode. God, I love this anime. Raelza was epic as hell. Morlock as well. Morlock and Saitou moment. The demon wolf asking for his son to be saved. Saitou making the best thing out of his situation and putting Morlock body next to the dog and cutting the bind on Raelza with wire cutters was awesome as well.
Morlock is awesome and it seems his greatest magic power was stored in his vital spot I have a feeling that she wolf and raelza know each other interesting connection there overall really good writing looking forward to the next
That was legit better than some shounen fights lol, that was damn good, my favorite moment besides Morlock being badass at the end was when Saitou came in with the wire cutters lol, perfect for an Isekai about a handyman.
And I gotta say, while I was initially disappointed the show gave the comedy and 4-panel manga style a backseat, this 2nd major arc has absolutely slapped, the comedy was there before it got really serious and the serious plot this time was better than the previous arc, I’m very pleased lol.
More bleak outlook for Saitou and his party trying to bring Morlock back to full life but hindered by the demon hunter and the demon dog's powerful demon master.
The final battle scene with the demon master was done rather well with Morlock showing his improved skill. Morlock now has cute dog ears?!
