| WOW! So much to unpack with this episode. What a hell of an impactful episode to end on. That fight was EPIC!! It really gave the Count Dooku vs Anakin & Obi-wan vibes with them two teaming up against Shadow. But HOLY HELL THAT PRINCESS IS MAD LMAO!!! Like, she wouldnt stop screaming berserker style. That evil over-the-top laugh Shadow did was hilarious. I couldnt stop smiling. It was obvious Princess Rose would join Shadow Garden from the second she showed signs of possession. That last scene with her was a bit sad/unpleasant to watch. Hearing her crying like that. I REALLY REALLY hope this series gets a season 2. It satisfies that same itch as Overlord and I NEED MORE!!!! All the girls are great, Shadow is so entertaining to watch, and its just overall a great show. I just re-watched episodes 1-19 before coming onto this one and enjoyed the hell out of it. I'm probably gonna catch up to the chibi episodes focusing on the girls as its nice to learn more about them. If we're lucky the game of this and the sales for the anime/LN do well we'll get a season 2 at some point since these days series are getting sequels left/right and center. |

| One of the best anime this season and I rarely like any anime nowadays since I'm jaded. IIrc the last anime I truly liked is Terror in Resonance and that was doomposted when it aired but if you look at it now in retrospective it's one of the best anime. Hopefully the same will happen to this series. Please make season 2. |

They also made iris a bit more unhinged than she appeared in the manga but that likely fits with the novel more. Basically it's the same exact telling as the manga, just told in a different way. |
| well well well this was great. it was hilarious seeing iris fuming and frustrated and shit after getting scared-shitless in the battle just minutes back, now ready to fight the shadow jhaha. it was awesome to see shadow being so cool and op. just playing with the both of them while those two are fighting the hardest they ever have in their life. felt bad for rose though, that was cruel. but also can't wait to see what kind of person she emerges as after the training. i basically have no hope for season 2 but still let's see, we are getting loads of sequels these days. we might get one of this too. 8/10. this was fun. |

He’s more like a megumin mc never heard of this glitch happening, so i don't believe that.. but w/e hes clearly a Kirito clone even if hes similar in ways to Megumin, especially considering the manga and novel are from 2018, i highly doubt w/o the overabundance of Kirito clone isekai Cid would have been a thing hes another OP short black haired MC with a harem... thats hard to argue against |

The story itself focused on Cid, so ur expectation is a bit off, there is no way they can cover all of the story about the girls (unless there is spinoff). But you’ll see how they struggle in the next season, or maybe u can continue read the manga/ln. i want my harem anime to focus on the waifus and i want the villains to be waifus too.. so naturally im not gonna be as fond of this anime, especially when as i've stated, im over the "no one can touch us" MC thing lol.. i called this a harem anime when its not even really, its just more so an anime about a crazy dude who just so happens to finess girls into working for him, which is cool and all, but not what im looking for |

| Very good way tear up the ending it shows the context that i can give us a season 2 as well which would have a hell of a lot of actions. The shadow garden base was the best thing to watch as it was formed as Cid's own city. This shows the power he has generated throughout the season. Alpha meeting Betrix would be a hell of a good fight/reunion. The pink hair girl would also come up with great ideas to kill Cid. It shows many outcomes. Going to wait for season 2 or read the novel. It would be a hell of a good anime.  |
| @Rimusimp idk whats going on, but when i try to quote you my page lags, but anyway they wouldnt have given him short black hair and made him OP if this wasn't parodying that trend, especially with the LN/Manga being from 2018 (after the iseaki boom) and yea, thats kinda what i said to someone else, its not really a "harem" which is one of the aspects that i dont like, since that means less focus on how hot the girls are and more so how crazy/OP is the MC when i want focus on the waifus, it took like 18 eps for him to FINALLY start fighting girls and till ep 20 for the girl who wants revenge to show up, so naturally i of all people am gonna be salty like.. my simp meter was never actived, and for me thats never a good thing but yea, regardless of how galaxy brain this show might be, i still find it to be "too safe", especially when it comes to isekai and its tropes... even if its mostly parody |

That's a typical shounen, which this series clearly doesn't try to imitate. i already explained later that i've watched some lore videos and can understand far more why people love Cid and the series, however, its still "too safe" for me to get hype over |

The power fantasy elements are "serious" in the sense that you're supposed to enjoy when Cid does OP shit, the joke isn't that he's overpowered, the joke is that he's a delusional role-player who doesn't grasp the darker elements in the story, partly through ignorance, and partly because he's the type of person who slaughters bandits for fun as a child. The fact remains, we aren't trashing him for being overpowered, we still like that aspect, we want to see him toy with people using his overwhelming strength, in that regard things can be funny one minute, and just plain badass the next. There is an attempt to create a fake serious atmosphere, but pretty much almost all scenes with Cid result in random bullshit that breaks the tension and make everything far less serious and more comedic in nature. Just because there aren't Konosuba-esc scenarios with screaming characters and goofy music doesn't necessarily mean the series is actually being serious on its own. Cid literally does insane things almost everytime he appears, the characters around him take everything seriously regardless of actual context, even when it doesn't make any sense, and yet, for Cid, its all a play, and we are watching the series most of the time from his point of view.You watched this episode, but still don't know it's a power fantasy?
