| Pretty slick how they pulled that eerie cliffhanger by the end of last week's episode just to drop the Future Devil in all his hilariously anti-climatic goofball glory first thing this time around. Still, you gotta love how even so they actually had a fair share of eeriness in store for such a funny sequence, be it in small details like the Future Devil's six-eyed gaze, or the big ones like the foreshadowing and moral implications surrounding Aki's future; for those of us who are aware of it, at least. This sequence is short and at first easily mistaken for something irrelevant to the big picture, but I like to see it as a nice example of how CSM is always subverting expectations in a very unique way; specifically, by making you expect something eerie, apparently delivering something silly instead and ultimately delivering something even more eerie than you expected in the first place. People having their first contact with this exchange between these two characters will no doubt be thinking about it for a long time, and soon enough they'll realize why. It's all very sad really, but the saddest part has to be the fact that it's all even sadder than it looks. Aside from the Future Devil's much-awaited reveal, this week had another one in a more collective fashion, which of course is that of the rest of the gang, who thankfully we'll be seeing a lot of from here on out. No doubt there'll be lots of people who are getting to know these characters through the anime that'll be soon ranking at least one or two of them among their favorites, which is nice. Shame we won't be spending a lot of time with them by the end of Part 1, as expected, but it's fun to see them properly introduced anyway, even if as a last minute bonus to all top quality fanservice delivered so far. So yeah, we're pretty much by the end of the ride at this point, and next week's final showdown will be the big payoff for this one's setup. Really looking forward to see what they have in store for us because to be honest I'm already missing this whole thing. |

| Damn that's it that was so fast I wanted more Anyways the future devils condition or more say power would feel limited and that is quite true being able to see the future and that's it might probably be helpful but at the circumstances of Aki getting choked to death he can see himself dying there but probably not contradicting what the future devil saw that death is not exciting at all. |

| Makima is terrifying but only decides to go for the easy targets not the big people like the girl in the red hoodie. If she has the power to kill her only by knowing her name then why is she letting her underlings get killed? Also why did Aki have to sign a contract with the future devil? What was the point of that? Some background info would've been nice. I do wish we could've found out how Aki will die. |
