| Great episode. There was an animation flaw I noticed. When Franky told the gifters to move they just stood there then teleported away... I do also like how we finished this episode with Luffy coming back to life asking for meat. Also loving how we got more Zoro! Zoro seems like he'll be coming back to probably fight King. I also love how we saw Yamato's transformation. Though I was a little sad for such a transformation that wasn't as cool as I thought. I do love how Yamato starts to remember and we get to see more of Yamato. Yamato is one of my favorite characters by far! I'm also loving Franky never seeing a dinosaur and was like "WOW THEY CAN FLY!" I found it funny plus him going backwards instead of forwards, great. I give this episode a solid 8.64/10 just because of the animation mistake. Plus wanting to see Kid and Law since Law was mentioned... |

| this is honestly the worst anime of all time. the pacing is so bad that i guess i'll be around for episode 1000000000000 before this shitty arc actually ends. imagine being part of this team, i would never ever ever ever hire any of them again. people should lose jobs over how shit this is. |

| Had to watch this again for the Franky vs Sasaki fight, yet again I don't understand how this is perceived as "mid" it was such a fun watch, especially Sanji dodging all of Queen's lazers. I guess its just the manga readers being entitled again. It's always the manga readers.... 🤦♂️ |

| Yamato's hybrid form looks funny but it's not a bad thing. Franky getting his SUPER mode on the line against Sasaki, very anticipated. Luffy woke up and said the n-word :laugh: (it's meat) |

| The fact that he went backwards and blushed because he messed is an easy representation of the state of this anime. 2 steps backwards, showing hundreds of flashback (that we saw previous episode) followed by nothing, then panning faces that are either happy or surprised and the emptiness of a useless fight between one of the characters and another enemy that keeps saying : "Bakana !" like everything is impossible and they've never seen someone else fight |

| Recap-Recap no-mi!!! Yamato's beast transformation has finally been revealed but to be honest, it's not that special of a revelation at all. Even Franky's fight against Sasaki is more entertaining in this ep. Luffy is making his first progress to getting back in the fight. After saying Ni-- Ni-- Ni-- NIGG NIKU!!! Them doctors will finally give Luffy his most effective medicine. |

Starting off with Yamato fighting Kaido, disturbing how Kaido smiles hitting his own child.
As always Luffy at near death after almost drowning, craves for meat for replenishment.
But there it is, the worst thing to ever happen ever, Yamato's hybrid form🤢🤢, completely removing the appeal, they couldn't just make her form a composite fruit like Macro's as he retains his regular appeal along using his devil fruit. Yamato is ruined now, we already got minks, chopper, carrot, and other Zoan type users that make it oversaturated already in this series. This is just for the sake of Kaido's pirate group name. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
It's even more disturbing seeing it from the side angle, that we can see her snout, but for some reason from the front, it does not appear that she has a snout. 🤢
I can get used to the fact that the Minks and chopper are animals but Yamato turning into one was a rather disturbing transition from her beautiful base form. 🤢
Since she stated she wanted to sail with Luffy, just WHY did Oda have to choose her to be a zoan type?! The crew is lacking logia badly. In fact, Chopper is a Zoan type user.
At least Kaido retains some of his base form looks, but Yamato on the other hand is a complete 180 turn, a complete different being. For me this is by far the most disappointing episode ever.
Franky's fight against Sasaki was the only good part of this episode. Although personally I think the hybrid forms could be designed better.
Seems like we're going to see more of Yamatos form next episode (sadly)

| @AhriTheS3xyFox First, let me just say that I love how dedicated you are as a Yamato fan! Your profile is a testament to your admiration. You're as big a fan of Yamato as Yamato is of Oden! That said, I believe Yamato may not be the best fit for Luffy's crew at this moment. While Yamato's personality fits Luffy's crew like a glove, I don't think she's the right candidate to be counted as the final member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy's goal was to recruit exactly 10 members, and he currently has 9. While Yamato would undoubtedly be a fantastic addition in terms of both companionship and power, she might be an underwhelming choice as the final member. Here's why I believe Yamato might not be the ideal fit, despite her being an awesome character: 1. The last three members of the crew were a cyborg, a skeleton, and a former Warlord of the Sea. Being Kaido's daughter alone doesn't quite measure up. 2. Yamato's admiration for Luffy stems from her connection to Ace, not from her own relationship with Luffy. She views him more as a target of admiration rather than a friend, similar to Bartolomeo. 3. Luffy's other crewmates have faced immense hardships, and Luffy played a crucial role in helping them through their struggles. They pledged their loyalty to him because of who he is, not what he represents. Yamato, on the other hand, seems more like a teen with daddy issues. 4. There is too much overlap in personality. Yamato fits in almost too well, if that makes sense. The current crew is composed of 10 individuals who wouldn't have ended up together if not for the strong bonds formed over 1000 episodes. Yamato needs significant character development, akin to the Enies Lobby arc, for me to consider her a viable member. 5. An invitation to join the Straw Hats is highly coveted and only extended to true friends. Yamato has not (yet) received such an offer. While I don't think Yamato is the right fit at the moment, her personality is an excellent fit for the existing members, and I'd love to see Akainu's reaction to Kaido's daughter, a powerful Zoan Devil Fruit user with lightning powers, joining Luffy's crew, further increasing its strength. That said, I'd be totally cool with her pulling an Oden, becoming a temporary companion—similar to how Oden traveled with Roger to the final island--as opposed to an actual member. This way, the 10th spot remains open for someone unique, who brings a new element to the crew (such as Logia or mythic fruit powers, as we already have a lightning and transform user on the crew in Nami and Chopper respectively). |
