| At the start maybe a 7, but right now in the manga it breaks the scale. The insults are also so cringe but I think that’s mainly due to the mistranslation. But the edginess is definitely necessary and rly contributes to the hype of the series. 100x better than power of friendship bullshit even tho this can be a bit cring at times |

| in the beginning, it's like a solid 6 on the edgy scale, but by the time we get well into the manga and the second arc it goes to a 9 there's no "Power of friendship" bullshit here lmao |

| I never grew out of my edgy, emo, perverted, lewd teenage faze. So these types of shows suit me fine. Some are done better than others, but even if I don't always like them, I will appreciate them, most of the time. 8/10 edge (they take Football as seriously as collage entrance exams) Blue Lock. 9/10 edge (cute anthropomorphic girls, engaging in a war, with zero bullshitting) Arknights: Reimei Zensou 10/10 edge (borderline cringe) Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! |

| 8/10 for me Some can appreciate Blue Lock for it while others do not. I know a friend who does not particularly flow with how edgy it can be, but I personally love it. Blue Lock is my sports anime with my kind of cast of characters    |
