There's no nonsense to be excused. Mappa is producing csm on their own, since they bought all the rights to the anime from the stakeholders. These little changes from the manga do not affect the story whatsoever. I'm more weirded out by how eager you are to slander a studio for no reason.
You have zero idea what slander means haha. And MAPPA purchased the rights for CM, they are not doing this out of the goodwill of their hearts, nor are they trying to innovate or impress the masses with their animation prowess...they are literally cutting corners to meet deadlines lol.
There is no deadline. They're the producers, they make the deadline themselves lmao.
If that’s the case, they should’ve spent way more time on this anime. Oh right, they have other stuff they are working on, so instead they are working their animators like slaves pumping out this subpar releases while also trying to sink their teeth into other potential big hits. I mean, one of the producers said CM is going to go down in the history books...I haven’t seen anything that amazing so far, lol. The animation is good when it’s good but I would argue many classic anime have much more impactful and iconic beginnings, like Ghost in the Shell or Eva. But anyways, if you are happy they are cutting it, I’m not going to try and convince you you should be expecting more from MAPPA. I said my opinion already.
Every anime they produce has different staff members. Since most of their staff consists of freelance animators, there's less of a chance they're actually overworking anyone. Well at least not overworking them more than other japanese studios overwork their staff as well.
I don't care about your opinion, you can say whatever you want to say. However don't pretend like you're in the right here, when you're just one of those deadbeat haters who don't know anything about how Mappa even operates.
And the directors are talking about the substance of the story and not the production quality. Csm manga on its own is good enough to go down in history as one of the best stories ever written. Tatsuki Fujimotos movie-like paneling is the most unique artistic choice a manga has ever taken. The production quality simply enhances that style, it doesn't take anything important away from it, and that's all it needs to do.
Here is your lovely MAPPA. Oh, but I’m just a hater! I forgot. Anyways, you are more than welcome to mute if you find me insufferable lol.
