[p] I loved this episode a lot! Characters in this anime are really well characterized so it's easy to reflect in them [p]

That Tooru is really intelligent and perceptive sometimes, but then sometimes he is not :O

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

@/Hystcey is right when they say, "The episode was shit. What’s up with the pacing? Shouldn’t cute moments last longer?"

I wouldn't call it shit, but I feel similar. For a pretty alright series, this was the first time I felt dissatisfied. The pacing was way to hyper. It was all these little unrelated moments, that would resolve in an instant. The sentimental hard-hitting moments don't really hit hard when it's one after another, rapid-fire. The back-to-back wholesome moments just don't feel special; there's no buildup and little pay off. Whereas, the past episodes were a lot slower paced and featured elongated storytelling; so the conflict resolution was all the more impactful because we had to work our way toward it. This clipshow-esque presentation is just so sudden, and is uncharacteristic for the series. Heck, sometimes I would start getting invested in the story, only for the conflict to be quickly solved; before I knew it, the next scene was starting, and I wasn't even aware that we were moving onto a new story. Ultimately, I didn't like this episode. As others pointed out, it's nice that there is some focus on side characters. But they really dumped it all on us with little room to breath—with little chance for the impacts to marinate or be seen.

This episode basically showed that you don't know how much you love someone until they're gone.

Also, I can't quite tell if they did it or not, they didn't exactly make that clear.

And the ending scene, what is the deal with that??? Hori biting him on the neck??

well this was a cute episode, Sengoku talking about how Ayasaki motivates him to protect her and to have strength/courage, which inspires Sakura to make cookies for Ishikawa. She delivers the cookies and Ishikawa calls the pink ones sakura cookies and basically saying "I love sakura", making Sakura herself so happy, that was a very cute bit. Meanwhile, Yoshikawa has a crush(?) on Ishikawa and tries to make cupcakes for him to compete with Sakura's cookies. She tried at least, poor Yoshikawa. Hori said it herself, the things she loves or wants tends to escape from her. Yoshikawa needs some encouragement there.

Hori waiting five days for Miyamura to come back, I can definitely relate to not seeing your loved one (or friends) for a long time, it does feel long and does make you emotional. The reunion was so cute. Hori has a questionable obsession with horror, she is freaking Miyamura out. In the end they cuddle(?) during the rainy environment. Post credit scene, did they actually smash each other???

Just a minor bugging thing... couldn't he call her through a relative's mobile phone during those long Hokkaido days? The rest is still good as usual, giving focus to supporting characters is good if they are this likable like the main couple, and once again a anime series handled with elegance something that isn't that easy to portray as such, especially for someone like me not even interested in "doing it" and annoyed by the society's obsession for it.
