The mashuko tensei started rating was much close to the rating of to your eternity.But now MT reaches to 8.42 and rating is getting low day by day.So this will also happen to to your eternity

Rating always goes down. This apply for every anime. Generally, people truly rate an anime after the series ending and many change thier previous rate

Nah, the only reason Mushoku Tensei’s rating dropped was cuz of the controversies in multiple episodes. I think To Your Eternity’s rating at the end of the season will be around 8.80.

It goes down for most anime, such is the tradition.

If the anime turns out to be a classic hit or something, then there's a chance that it'll rise or stay constant, but more often than not, ratings go down.

Mushoku Tensei highest rating was around 85 iirc, it's nowhere near Fumetsu rating

I can see it drop just like any other anime. After it finishes airing and more people watch it and rate it, it'll drop unless it's really a masterpiece as manga readers claim it to be.

I sometimes forget to finish my sentences.

Obviously. A lot of people wait for an anime to get a decent way through or finish before they give it a rating, so the scores always adjust the most when it finishes. High rated shows will go down a bit, lower rated shows will either stay low or rise.

The highest score of Mushoku Tensei is 8.47, I don't think that's near To Your Eternity's score 8.71.

What I meant was something more in a period between seasons, but sure. Time and number of members will always tell the true quality of a show, but on the other hand there is a difference between such a big drop with MHA and slight rating adjustment. With JJK we'll have to wait for more seasons to see the true score i guess.

tbh I wouldn't even notice it dropped that hard if you didn't point it out.

mushoku went down because of the pedo so it's a bad comparison

Horimiya is a better example which started out 8.63 and went down with every episode because of the weird pace

So to answer your question, if the anime does something wrong it will go down, if it doesn't then no. Rezero S2 stayed mostly the same throughout for example.
