Oh man, I'm sad to see the Ratte didn't survive this battle. Such a waste. Maybe they'll mass produce it for the final push to Moscow in the future?

World Capital Germania? nice! That former emperor of Karsland is a reference to Hitler I guess? Anyway, I really wish the Nazis won the war and they were able to build that utopian city. I've seen Germania in Wolfenstein and it looked awesome!

I'm glad they all survived that battle. However, I'm kinda disappointed that there wasn't any tragedy for such a extremely dangerous mission.

I wonder who will replace Minna and Trude next season.

That wound was pretty nasty. Almost thought she could've died lol

But it's been repeated enough. Miyafuji constantly getting depowered is annoying. But at full strength and then some here shows how OP she is. Huge shield with range and duel welding capabilities plus extreme healing.

GOD DAMN! They really went & ended this on a pantsu flash & bang. Yoshika shows off her fighting spirit with an SMG this time. Shizuka's near-death scene was unusually gruesome for this series. Certainly, Road to Berlin pulled out all of the stops with this dramatic blockbuster of a finale.

This has definitely been a solid follow-up to the franchise. While some of the formula felt rinse & repeat, it lost none of the charm that came with the first series, which aired a full 12 years earlier. While it was generally lighter on the fanservice, the upgraded action more than made up for it. Particularly seeing how the Neuroi have adapted to fighting Witches and how each battle tested the 501st on a whole new scale. It's also reassuring to see how, for the first time, the season ends with the 501st in tact & ready to continue fighting. Hopefully that means that somewhere, someday the next campaign will commence.
