| Not gonna lie, playing a game at 20 fps is more enjoyable than watching this anime. I'm so disappointed, everyone says that the animation is amazing and reviewers give high praise but it is so bad. Can I expect the same animation quality from s2 or does it actually get decent? |

To answer your Tho, there is some slight change in animation but it’s barely noticeable for you to suddenly be into it. To me personally a good story makes the animation look amazing even though it really might be crap, because you’ll be too invested into the story to actually notice it, but if you can’t do like that, it’d be better for you to read the manga or go just move onto something else on your ptw |

The use of cg allowed them to add so many facial expressions and convey a sense of weight extremely well. The subtle movements and body language were fun to watch as well. Ah yes. And there were actually some 2d parts in the show, but they looked like shit. Cringed every time there was a transition. The use of cgi was a choice in art style and it worked out pretty well. When 2D is actually trying, then it's definitely better than this shitfest CGI. Just because most TV anime sometimes lack animation, it doesn't mean the CGI is better. Minimal 2D animation is always better than bad 3D animation. |

It sounds like you're trying to argue against something like attack on titan rather than beastars. What I'm saying is that 3D animations allow generally more movement than 2D animation. But quality-wise, the 2D animation is visually better while the 3D is visually inferior. If I had to choose, I prefer 2D because while it may have less animation overall, at least it looks better than what the 3D could ever hope achieving. And I'm just comparing mediocre 2D animation vs Beastars animation. |
