| Finally watched it animation for the static dialogue scenes are much better than WIT. More movement and interesting direction which is good. The frame rate at times can look kinda weird but the dialogue here is so much more interesting to watch (S3 dialogue scenes use way more images of characters just talking). Makes up for some of the lost elements (CG on the Titans being iffy) elsewhere considering outside of Uprising these are some of the more dialogue heavy arcs in AOT. Backgrounds also look nice. People are talking about pacing honestly I guess it's maybe because I haven't read the manga in awhile but I didn't notice anything if there were any cuts (Edit: and going through the manga again yeah it was adapted pretty faithfully lol I will also add they aren't keeping to a strict order so if that is what people are talking about it's likely to get added in later episodes. Manga jumped back a lot between flashbacks and the present day order is different here.). The things in the pacing thread are pretty stupid complaints. S3 Part 1 was way worse paced than this. I am pretty confident MAPPA is going to nail that one very important exchange in this series. Honestly really just some of the CG Titan scenes is the actually only thing I think MAPPA has done worse than WIT everything else they are in my opinion exceeding them in. Problem is that was a notable big part of the series. Regardless this probably will be the last time I am going to talk or care about WIT and just enjoy the adaption that is there. I think the WIT vs MAPPA has at least poisoned the discussion around this season. For me I wanted to see what anime onlys thought of the story more than anything versus constantly comparing to the manga or asking who was better. |

| Bruh that one kid who was kicking the fucking stone thing before Reiner came out to the port was so poorly animated lmao. Otherwise very solid ep, am excited. The poor animation quality at times isn't a huge detractor for an anime only it would seem. Also, can't wait to fucking go bonkers when Eren shows up. |

| Another good episode! Some scenes had shorter or rearranged dialogues, but nothing major was lost (mostly exposition and some humorous scenes were cut, RIP Pieck's quadrupedal walk). The episode was probably the best of the franchise in term of character animation (not that the bar was high lol). |

When Eren used too much of his power he started bleeding from his nose. When the body is heavily injured, titan regeneration and titan powers seem to not work properly. |

| "Sasuga, Pieck-chan!" Fantastic episode, a look in the life of Marley gang and more of a build up episode. Well, there's going to be a lot of build up but, the payoff will be fucking fantastic. I am really looking forward to the next episode, give it to me n o w. |

| Good episode. Nice to see the stuff animated. MAPPA doing a great job. Also with the sound. Pieck really looks cute. I also like her voice actress. Much better with colors and voice than in the manga. |

| Well, the episode was okay to say the least. It was more focused on the world building and character development and has no action whatsoever, which I do like but the episode was okay overall. Reiner's anecdote about Paradis was a little comedy though, although might not be funny to some but it's that comedy element that was rarely seen in this series so there's that. |

If I had to guess, Ymir knew how the Eldians from Marley felt after her experience as the cult's goddess. She knew that Reiner and Bert are not actually bad people and she felt bad for eating Marcel since she was the only one who understands how they feel ("I am returning what I borrowed back then" is what she said). After all, Ymir died with no regrets, other than the fact that she couldn't marry Historia, which couldn't have been possible either way. I don't think Ymir hates Marley for what happened, she accepted that the world they live in is fucked. I agree that Ymir's reasoning is weird, but she was for sure an interesting character, she didn't defend either side and she only did what she wanted to. |

| This episode was amazing! Pieck and Galliard got to be introduced, Zeke managed to give a couple of important talks, we got to see more of Gabi, Falco, Zofie and Udo. Reiner told about life on the island and, frankly, it did not even sound bad. The soundtrack was just so good, it gave me shivers during the reunion scene. The animation was spot on as well. |
