Personally, if that wouldn't be enough to fill me inside, then I'd definitely skip the mandingo-sized unit and go instead with a meter stick. No point for me to take it in if it doesn't straighten my colon.

I personally skip all fillers, because 90% of the time they're not worth my time. But that's my take on it.

I skipped the fillers for Naruto and Bleach, but after I finished all the canon episodes, I put them in my dropped list because I know that I didn't actually complete them if I didn't watch the fillers. So IMO, it's okay to skip fillers as long as you put the anime in your dropped list after you have finished watching the canon episodes.

If you are in for the plot only then you should skip fillers, but if you want to be fully engaged in an anime and like to have a connection with the characters then you should watch them.
