| I like how the trio of Makoto, Yukari and Junpei are the ones all the games start marketing with. They're even the ones you start with in your party for the first two months, two dungeons and two bosses. They;re like P3's "Starter Pack" :p You also get Aigis because you HAVE to have Aigis. I would both love and hate them if they made DMN canon. One of the most prominent themes of Persona 3 is "Apathy" and Makoto is almost the physical personification of that. He only starts to break out from that mindset at the very last 1/5th of the story, and even then, while he becomes more caring and compassionate, he still remains laid back and stoic most of the times. This is why this part cracks me up.  "I'LL BUST A MOVE... or whatever". I really hope they justify this well. I didn't care how ridiculousness P4's DAN was because P4 didn't exactly put a huge emphasis on its story, so the already silly characters acting more silly wasn't that much of a stretch. REALLY looking forward to Mitsuru's dancing still, though (¬‿¬) Also, can't wait for that OST. |

P3, while certainly lacking a definitive version, is by no means dated enough to get the remake treatment and isn't on par visually with the P5 to get a remaster. Persona 3 is truly an amazing game, a fact that Atlus acknowledges by giving it and it alone the movie treatment in adaptations and Aniplex agrees by giving the OK, but it didn't reach the "FFVII status" yet for an entire new remake to be as profitable as P5 when almost the same amount effort will be spent on it. Effort that could be directed to a new installment all-together. |

I know that this was meant to intrigue me, but... that actually raised a few red flags for me. I don't really enjoy either characters. But the positive reception is telling, I'll make sure to check it out at some point for sure. | I definitely agree with the Tatsuya one. He's more the quiet OP type. The person who came to mind for me when I first saw him was the MC from Kiznaiver. The similarity strengthened after the most recent ep. He probably became OP from having to go through some kind of child experiment to weed out and create geniuses or create specialised humans. It's a pretty generic backstory tho. He's an okay character, but he feels kinda bland imo. I'm more interested in Kushida, who's other side is reminiscent of JAlter. @astroprogs Certainly. Moreover, the same-sounding music isn't as prominent here, which is awesome. |

At least for me. Feels like a waste. And the key word is 'probably' - it's just a speculation made for the sake of this argument. I'm definitely keeping my mind open for more plot twists and such, but assumptions must be made if one is going to discuss something which is unclear. I just hope it's not that backstory - as in, not only that backstory. And I hope he doesn't get with the girl with black hair, but who am I kidding.
