| I don't get the hype, this anime is so overrated and most modern anime aren't good anyways. Can someone please explain to me why this anime gets so much praise? I dislike iyashikei sOL CGDCT show and its second season was way too slow-paced for me. It's just about a know-it-all girl who wants to be seen as an adult, a crybaby who freaks out too easily, a weird precocious selfish kid with a grumpy face on, and an orange-haired girl who I think is the least annoying because she's more easygoing. |

There are few SOL anime I like but I said I dislike iyashikei SOL CGDCT shows and this anime has all of them in one anime. So I hate it for that reason and the fact that it has no story to it. I tried Aria but it wasn't really my cup of tea. |

Good job listing off the characters! But don't make me laugh. It's about childhood first and foremost and the viewer is like the candy-store lady, watching it bloom. Ofc. it's also relaxing, funny, has a great OST and is heartwarming. imo of course. It gets praise because some people see it that way too. But shows about childhood can still have characters that are more sanely behaved, light, optimistic and easy-going, like Fruits Basket. I'm also a bit more into action. At least a little bit of action is necessary to make a story more exciting. You shouldn't be stereotyping children like that! |

When NNB tries, it definitely clicks. When I said that you were stereotyping children, I thought that you were talking about how it is acceptable for these children to behave the way they are because of the stereotype about how kids are annoying, whether they're crying, or being selfish, or being know it-all when using archetypes and cliched characters can make a story unappealing to me. |
