| Just finished the main story of Fate/Extella. Can definitely say I had a blast playing through all of it. Nero in her bride outfit is pure glory. There's also a lot of screenshot-worthy moments in the game. MAJOR SPOILERS! Don't click unless you've completed Extella as well. |

Casko arc feels like a downgrade from Nero so far which was super fun. Bit disappointed it was short. I really need to push through to get to Altera's story. At least they really build up interest to get to it. Gameplay is fun but gets old super fast. Sometimes you miss it but then get bored 5mins in and the cycle repeats itself lol. Change mode, while I'm sure you can pull of impressive feats with it so far to me is pretty pointless. I rather enjoy Extra gameplay a lot more in this regard. To each their own really. [Edit] I really really like Nero and Altera so far. The latter I haven't even begun her story as it's locked. This game actually made me pity and like Elizabeth. There is a lot of story but kinda difficult to enjoy with its convoluted structure as standard with most Nasu works. You eventually get the gist of it but require some rereading or good 'connecting the dot' skills. |

| I've only just got through Nero's story and a bit of Tamamo's, but I generally agree with what the two above have said. Gameplay gets pretty repetitive. The maps themselves don't feel as complex as other Musou games I've played. There are some pretty weird design decisions, too. There's this huge emphasis on taking down things called "Plants" which spawn troops that invade your sectors, but once one goes down, another spawns literally a moment later, so there ends up being no real point fighting them other than taking the territory they spawn on. Story Mode is the only way to unlock new characters but it suffers from the flaw that you can only play as the main waifu and their one main general. So basically 6 whole stages using two characters.This is why I haven't touched Extella for a couple of days. Tamamo and Karna are fucking boring to play as but they're the only characters you can use in Tamamo's route. As someone who likes Nero but doesn't waifu her, and as someone who doesn't really like Tamamo, the romantic dialogue is really annoying. And there is a lot of it. When you aren't talking about conquering shit, you're talking about wanting to bang your servant. And as someone who has a roommate that isn't really into anime, it gets really uncomfortable playing this game when all the waifu shit pops up. I mean I get that this is post-Extra, so you and your servant should be close, but bleh. My main Extra playthrough was the Archer route anyways. Story wise, there's some interesting concepts, but I feel the presentation is underwhelming. Most of the plot is just characters standing around talking in either your throne room or in My Room. The pacing also feels a bit off, so at one mission your team might be on the losing end, but by the next mission you are literally at the gates of your enemy. Honestly, I'm a bit underwhelmed by Extella right now. Like when I'm playing it, I feel like just playing Dynasty Warriors 8 instead because there is a lot more to do in that game outside of the story. I feel like if this game had an equivalent to Ambition Mode or Empire Mode, there would be a lot more replayability, but as it stands right now, I'm probably just going to just finish the main story and do a few side stories before forgetting about it for a while. |

| Finally I got my CE. I was expecting some damage to the box but it was fine, even had a "fragile" tape on it. Somehow the inside of the box was damaged the corners of what was holding the game and the book.....how in the hell?I dont care about that. Some things I noticed: Cu doesnt have Protection from Arrows. Li Shiwen dislikes TATARI. WTF?He knows it? Iskandar's talent is ad libbing in arguments. Makes sense to me. Black Highschool clothes Jeanne is adorable. Archimdes would totally hate TM fandom. Robin, in Tamamo's team, would try to steal Medusa's heart |

| Hard mode is challenging for a button smash game. Especially if you go in the stage below the req level. The real game would be Very Hard. |

| The game so far, I am before stage 6, with Nero on hard: Gameplay: I like it .I only played one DW game before in ps2 so I cant really compare but with few words "it is fun". I only tried Nero and Cu in a SD. Between Nero at 30lvl and Cu at 10lvl I had a way easier fight with Cu in stage 1. His attacks and range offer better results even with such a gap.His regalia power up is also better than Nero's which I can barely control. Mfw I changed characters and from Nero 20lvl I went to Archer lvl1 only to see his death. Graphics +High frame rate +attacks are beautiful +Shaft feeling -Lip sync -clip through issues -some characters are not as well done as the others. Audio Not much to say.I like it. |

| I only played Casko's route in Extra and I havent touched CCC. I have two problems with the story so far. 1)DigimonTech stuff.Same problem I had with Extra. With the exception of "The Planet"(temporary name) all of thatshit just doesnt feel they belong to Nasuverse lore.I am playing Digimon Extella. 2)I wont go as far as to say that the waifu moments are more than the story, but the fact that I never cared about SERAPH's world doesnt help there. So how did you guys beat Iskandar? |

They always use in-house premature engines that don't have the advanced expected perks of modern 3D engines like good boundry-detection and more points of movement. If the sequel becomes a PS4 exclusive and they abandon the handheld version, they should be able to use the extra power in the engine's skeleton instead of just increasing the number of enemies on the screen. ...and maybe increase the enemy variation on the screen while they're at it >_> |

Same way I beat anything else. Spamming square and triangle with the occasional circle. Archer's square square triangle is super spammable and safe. The only thing I found Lu Bu tier so far was . Unless you're talking about a different Iskander than Nero route Iskander. All I want in terms of Fate/ games right now is another fighting game, maybe a sequel to F/UC. The gameplay was a lot easier to get into than the average fighting game (I basically quit playing the newest Blazblue game after a week after failing to become even mediocre at it) but it also had some depth to it. It was also my first actual entry into the Nasuverse so I hold a place in my heart for it. |

Alex is similar to Nero because both are very easy to socialize with, but other than that their characters' couldn't be more different from one another. The connection I made between Iskander and Nero was both were tyrants but compassionate and supportive of their people. (before Grand Order) VVVVV Q: Having the "black" one as the main character and the "white" one as the villain is a refreshing idea. Then, how about the red Saber (Saber Extra), who appeared in Fate/Extra? Uro: That character is completely disconnected from the other Sabers. Personally, she looked like a female Gilgamesh to me. Nasu: If I had written Fate/Zero, then Iskandar would have been a character like Red Saber. In my mind, I can only see Iskandar as a worthy opponent to Gilgamesh, but the Iskandar Urobuchi created was an excellent, wild, and unprecedented character that I could have never thought up. But I want to surpass him somehow, so maybe Red Saber was born out of my drive to create a different tyrant from Iskandar. < (Where I made the mistake.) | Finished Nero route. Not much to say.I mean, I bet all the story is in Altera's route so.... It is Fate route 2.0, where you get the basic stuff. Anyway, I dont know if Casko is bad or if using a lvl1 char again for a lvl 15 stage is what makes it hard. Karna sucks tho. |

If you level him up enough where you can do his full normal combo with just light attacks, the last attack hits for a LOT, especially if it's on a huge group of enemies. Also, really cheap thing to use his triangle attack -> wave dash -> triangle attack in the air repeatedly, never touching the ground as long as you don't get hit out of it. I do this to easily kill plants. |

The only thing i remember of it is Urobuchi saying that Shirou x Rin is OTP, which i guess is the only part that matters in it :p |
| Anyone else getting overheat problems with their PS4 while playing Extella? Especially the bath scenes. My slim immediately goes into maximum fan mode for those. Even just 20mins and my slim is incredible hot. |
| While it did happen to me, it isnt the first game to do that. It even happened to S;G 0 and Broforce. |
