Corpse Party is a great horror game, but if you can't handle characters being "bisected by a wire trap" or "possessed by spirits; severed own tongue with scissors", stay as far away from this game as possible. |

Corpse Party has everything that game has (it's even the same genre, horror visual novel) except for the rape part. |

I highly doubt that since the rape part is far from the worst of it xD I don't know about the corpse party game, but what I like about saya no uta is that unlike most horror anime it isn't just about gore and cheap jump scares. The most f*cked up stuff in that story is the stuff they don't directly show you :3 |

For example, the principal of an Elementary school, after failing to grope a teacher, accidentally pushed her down the stairs, killing her. Her 7-year old daughter, after seeing this, attempted to run, but the principal caught her, strangled her to death, then buried her in the school's basement. Then, after a few days had passed (and many nightmares), unsure of whether she was dead or not, he dug her out and cut her tongue off to prevent her from speaking. |
